Second stay in this lovely apartment in an ancient palazzo, located in the heart of the old town, renovated with care and creativity by the owner, who is an architect. Nothing missing. Note to light sleepers: the flat is on the first floor in an area that can get lively in the evening.

Being in the center of Modena, it is very close to every facility (bars, restaurants, etc). However, I did not have good time for sleeping as the apartment was noisy at night , especially the Chinese girls next door ...(which I also advised personally ....). The apartment looks better in the pictures than in reality. The building is very old and I did not feel very well walking inside it and on the stairs ... If it is going to be just for 1-2 nights, it is OK Many thanks especially to the lady who checked me in at the beginning.

Nice central place in Modena! The city is a hopping with young night life as there is a Univeristy in the same town! Domenico's place was great - no complaints!

Great little find in historic Modena; parking isn't close by but at least it's included. And do take ear plugs, just in case the guests next door are very loud through the poorly insulated wall separating the apartments! But otherwise the flat is very well equipped, charming in every way, and in a perfect spot!

This is a lovely flat, full of interesting historical features, well blended into Domenico's smart modern redesign. Comfy and clean, it has everything you'd want for a base to explore the city and surroundings, being perfectly located in a neat little street a few hundred yards from the heart of the city, the Piazza del Duomo. There is only one secluded bedroom, with the other full bed being located on a cool mezzanine under the finely renovated period ceiling. The entrance to the building beyond the old wooden door and winding corridors to access the apartment have seen better days, and give place a rather edgy run down urban vibe, but move beyond that and you'll feel right at home in this impeccable flat.
