Where you’ll be

Woodford, Vermont, United States

3 miles from Route 9 nestled in the Green Mountain National Forest, this location is very private. The road ends on the property so there is generally no traffic. Prospect Ski area is within ski distance. You can hike a 10-mile loop of the Long Trail including Harmon Hill with its breath-taking views of Bennington. Or hike to Sucker Pond at the top of the mountain to swim or fish.

Although only 10 miles from Bennington it is unlikely to see anyone (except me) all day.

Bennington offers golf, shopping, a world-class museum and good restaurants.
