Lexington Orange South is your private modern luxurious retreat in the middle of bustling and historic Hollywood. Completely renovated in 2013, this property is located on a corner-lot property in the heart of Hollywood (see 'The Neighborhood').
The home is re-imagined to be an architecturally modern and comfortable home consisting of 2 units, designed and furnished by a published designer, for hip luxury living. It is one house, divided into two privately accessed units (north and south), with mirror-image floor plans. Either side is completely private, only sharing a private gated driveway. A tall hedge surrounds the house, providing additional secure privacy.
This is the SOUTH UNIT: 1,000 square feet of smartly divided spaces consisting of a master en-suite bedroom (there is a bathroom attached), a small lofted 'floating bedroom' above the main living space, a second bathroom on the ground floor, and a fully equipped kitchen with all major appliances and everything you may need to make your stay comfortable and convenient- all opening to a dining area, office, and living room with vaulted ceilings and a 16-foot tall gas fireplace. There is central air (AC) and heat. There is also a washer and dryer, internet/Wi-Fi, and LED flat screen televisions with satellite channels. A huge private garden with a trellis, outdoor dining and grill, sunning area surrounded by fruit trees and fragrant flowering vines makes this unit very special. There is a secured gated parking that comes with renting this unit. Having your car in a gated private driveway just outside your back door is rare in the Hollywood area.
THIRD BED OPTION: A third bed (fold-out sofa with full-size mattress sleeps 1 or 2 persons) is available. This 3rd bed option will be set up when there are more than 4 persons. Any additional person(s) after the 4th person is charged $25/person/night up. There is maximum of 6 persons.
If there are less than 4 persons, and you still want a 3rd bed set up, we can accommodate this request for a one-time set-up fee of $50.
BABY/TODDLER furniture is available (crib, high-chair, toddler bed) for a one-time set-up fee of $50.
Additional cleaning may be requested during your stay for $100/cleaning.
A Rental Agreement in PDF is sent after you book. It just describes the house in detail as well as maintenance schedule of the house (gardener, trash collection days, etc.). It also described in detail what may affect the refund of your security/damage deposit.

This property is just a few blocks from the Hollywood & Highland complex (Dolby Theatre, Chinese Theatre, Walk of Fame, Roosevelt Hotel, etc.)- considered the center-point for the entertainment capital of the world. In addition, the West Hollywood Gateway (Target, Starbucks, etc.) is only 2 blocks away. The neighborhood is mixed-use, consisting of homes built in the 1920s, newer apartments/condos, entertainment production/post-production studios and digital labs. There are a few restaurants within walking distance. 'The Lot', part of Warner Brothers Studios, is only 4 blocks away. Radio Recorders, a historic recording studio where Elvis Presley (and many others) recorded music, is one block away.
Having a car is IDEAL for Los Angeles, however, there are major bus routes within a few blocks away, and a subway (Metro) is 6 blocks away. Taxis and Uber car service are available in the Los Angeles area. We provide a discount code for Uber.
From the property, it is about a 10-15 minute walk to most central Hollywood attractions.

LIABILITY: The Homeowners privately own the rental unit and are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises. The Homeowners are not responsible for the loss of Guest personal belongings or valuables. By accepting this reservation, all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of, or others whom they invite, to use the premises.
This document serves as the Rental Contract. You do not need to sign or print anything. By reading this entire document and renting/booking the unit(s), you are abiding to and accepting the rental policies as listed in this document.
Refundable $500 security/damage deposit required. Refunded 3-5 days after check-out as long as nothing is missing or damaged.
No smoking. Forfeiture of Security deposit if there is a sign of smoking activity inside the house.
No pets. Forfeiture of Security deposit if there is a sign of pats inside the property.
No loud noise (loud TVs/stereos, etc.) after 10pm.
My friends and I really enjoyed our stay. The place was warm and inviting. The host made check in and out very simple and easy for us. We had everything we needed. It was such a relief to have directions and suggestions to local stores and restaurants. I would definitely stay again.

Really great experience - the check in (and out) was probably the best I've seen - super easy. Beautiful property that was nice and clean. Really appreciated the little things left for us and the bottle of wine (even though we didn't get to drink it). Lots of helpful little notes or labels left all over the house. Nice size modern TV plus there was a computer there to use (we had our laptops but for someone traveling light this is awesome). The gated parking was very nice, decent sized spaces. Lots of helpful tips about the area emailed to us. This is exactly what all Airbnb experiences should be like. Definitely would recommend both this property and the hosts!
