The location of this apartment was fantastic, everything was within a short walking distance and it was great to be in the centre of the old town. We did not have a 'host' as such - when you arrive at the apartment you have to call a mobile number; you are then given information on which apartment you are staying in and how to gain access. This was fine, although we struggled with finding the wifi code (taped to a light switch) and getting hot water for the shower as there was no welcome information sheet provided. Other than that it was clean and well maintained, a pleasant stay overall.
Ivana was an amazing host. We had issues with our plane when we arrived and she went out of her way to help us. The studio apartment is lovely. It's really central and had everything we needed.
Very good experience overall. Nice apartment in a location that cannot really be rivalled. After dealing with the agents of the host, we met the host himself, who was very nice and gave us all the information we needed.
Kitchen could have been slightly better equipped, just a couple of items like more cutlery would have been good. Instructions on how to get onto the wifi would also have been helpful, as the password was in the room . . . just very small and lurking in an unexpected place so we were not able to access it without being told. The boiler seemed to have a bit of a mind of its own, too.
The above are minor issues though, I would recommend this place to someone visiting Dubrovnik, we had a positive experience.
Thank you very much Ivan.
Having the chance to live inside an old castle and absorb the atmosphere was fantastic. The apartment was easy to find and we were contacted to help us get in before we arrived. It is a great location!
Lovely little apartment! It was very cozy for my week-long stay. Couldnt ask for a better location if you want to be in the Old Town. Ivana was professional and very sweet.
Really great place! Location was close to so many cafes and restaurants and tourist sites. The apartment had everything we needed in it and the owner arranged for a driver to meet us at the airport. I packed rather heavy on this trip because I am moving to Europe so I had a heck of a time getting my bags up and down the stairs/street the apartment was on but it was worth the extra exercise.
I would recommend this apartment to travelers visiting Dubrovnik and would stay here again!
We enjoyed our stay in Ivan and Ivanka's apartment. It had everything we needed, and the location was very good. It was close to the action in the Old Town but yet we never heard any noise from all the activities outside so that was good.
The hosts are very nice and very helpful, I would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone!

Hi, I'm Nikola & Family :) Welcome!
I graduated at Faculty of Economics in Tourism in Dubrovnik.
Last winter I took the course for Office Manager in Tourist Agency and now I am working in one of the leading Agencies in Croatia.
What really makes me happy is to work with my family and friends during the season as we all love meeting new people and working in tourism.
We are doing our best to make our guests feel welcome and have a pleasant stay at our accommodation. There will always be someone to help out with your requests. We are stand by on the mail, phone and there is someone to welcome you on your arrival to show you arround, give the keys and introduces you to Town and it's attractions.
We are in Tourism for a long time now and we learned a lot along the way. Every time with every new guest it is new experience and we are giving the best we can so guest feels like home.
From experience the best would be to do like this : If you decide to book , please let me know if you are arriving with a car , bus or from airport so that I can send you directions to the apartment in details, also it would be good, if you book the accommodation , that you send me your email address so that I could send you a map with marked location and coordinates .
If you are coming prior to the check in time let me know so that I can be ready and that I can help you with luggage until the apartment is prepared or that I arrange the cleaning lady earlier ( if the guests before you leave before theirs check out time ) and prepare the apartment earlier for you .
I encourage you to ask anything that you would like to know before you make booking .
On the arrival I or one of my dear family members will wait for you, help you to settle in and provide you maps of local area and some useful advises .
I am always available to come if you need my assistance and via cell phone and email and my family members as well .
For sure, since I also travel, I must mention that it is good to explore little bit on your own about the area you are visiting ( as lots of people were surprised that there are stairs in Dubrovnik, and they did not checked the fact that Dubrovnik is built under a hill :) )
We very much respect guests privacy and of course the guests need to respect some house rules like in hotel .
Thank you for your time to read this and hope to be able to welcome you in one of mine or my familie accommodation units.
Nikola and Family
