*FREE transport from and to the airport*
Special WEEK PRICE 250 euros!!!! Pay 5 days and stay 7!!!
The apartment is located in a good position very closed to the airport of Bari Palese, to the city center, the 'Fiera del Levante' and the port. The house is in a very quiet location far from traffic, very good place for relaxing after work. There is a nice beach far just 600 meters!! And a big Olympic swimming pool place just around 1 km.
The apartment is on the ground floor and has a big bedroom with a double bed, closet and dresser.
In the living room there is a couch (1 & 1/2 size) in which two people can sleep comfortably, a table and a very nice fireplace. The kitchen is quite big with another smaller table. There are two bathroom. The main bathroom has a bath tub.
Sheets, towels and all that a family could need for cooking and eating are available. In the house there is also an inverter air conditioner and fans.
It's the ideal place for one who arrives by car and would like to stay in the city without having any parking problems. However, the bus stop is very closed, less than 300 metres.
This trip was amazing, the city is pretty and clean, and the surroundings are interesting too, Polignano al Mare et Alberobello, places which must be visited!
Thank you so much Antonella! The house was more than it was advertised, we had everything we needed.
Antonella was out of town, but kept in touch with us, and her parents helped us so much, they welcomed us at the airport, and showed us around, even took us to the airport when we left, they were the kindest, friendliest people we met during our holiday, they really made us feel like home, so grateful to them.
The apartment was completely equipped, clean, very comfortable, and everything was operating well.
There was some food for us in the kitchen when we arrived, that was very thoughtful from Antonellas parents.
The area was quiet, from the house 5 minutes walk to the bus stop, where we could take the bus directly to the town center.
The nearest beach was about 10-15 minutes walk from the apartment.
We can not complain about anything we really enjoyed our holyday, so thank you Antonella and your parents again!! :)
I do recommend Antonellas apartment!
Although Antonella was out of town, herself (via phone) and her lovely parents made our stay there quite enjoyable, starting from the very short notice airport pick-up (thank you!), to the little breakast goodies left in the fridge, and to the wonderful trip advices offered to us. Felt like home right from the start! The house is just as advertised, with very good conditions inside, very quiet and a wonderful location. The short access road from the highway is a bit creepy, but don't let this bother you too much. I hightly recommend Antonella's nice house!
Thank you Antonella.
We enjoyed our stay in Bari very much. We got off to a great start as your parents met us off the ferry from Durres. They showed us around the area near the apartment and also gave us a quick rundown on how all the appliances worked. That is always very helpful in an unfamiliar property.
We were grateful to your mum and dad for explaining about the bus service to and from Bari city centre as they assisted us in the purchase of two bus tickets.
Everything in the kitchen was easy to use, the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom facilities all worked. Would a curtain around the bath shower be a good idea? It's difficult to avoid making a splash. Although it was warm, we did not need the air conditioning or the fan.
Other very welcome features included the provision of maps and plans on the city and Puglia. But most importantly, we found a plentiful supply of basic foods in the cupboards and fridge. These little things made us feel at home right from the start.
Antonella speaks excellent English and, when we met her on day three, she highlighted some of the attractions in the surrounding area. At her suggestion, we visited the pretty coastal resort of Polignano and also explored the remarkable village of Locorotondo. However out main destination was the fascinating city of Matera in the province of Basilicata.
The host and her family were very nice people! They took the time to tell us some places to visit in the Bari area and show us the entire apartment and how things operate. They even left us a few items for us to cook and eat! It was cold on our arrival and they even built a fire for us in the fireplace! The place was extremely clean which was important to us! The kitchen had all the items to prepare a big meal and was a good size room for both cooking and eating. The bed was big and comfortable and there was peace and quite for our night sleep since the apartment is tucked away from the main roads. The bathroom which had a bathtub was a great addition for bathing our little one! There was a strong and stable internet connection in the apartment which was something I need to get some work done! The cable TV was all in Italian which we didn't understand but great for our 2 year old to watch the cartoons. It was so nice not to have to climb a bunch of stairs with our luggage since this apartment is on the ground floor plus having a secure place to park your car. You are about a 5 minute drive to the old town of Bari and 10 minute drive to a mall. It was also a plus to have a big park with swings, slides and other children items right across from the main street! Overall we had a great stay in this cozy apartment and would stay again upon another visit to Bari. Thanks Antonella for making us feel at home in your apartment!!
We have received a warm welcome and help from the owner (Antonella's Father). He was very helpful in giving us travel directions and provided all help we have asked for. The house is very comfortable, with all facilities and close to the city center. We felt as being to our home.
