Reinhart's place was great. The location was easy to get to and from; we found it fun riding the ferry to his place. His place was beautiful and it was so relaxing staying on a boat with the windows open. And the neighborhood was really quiet but still near the center and all the fun, busy places. Rienhart and his girlfriend were both really nice and gave us good advice about places in the city. We felt like we had plenty of space and never felt like we were in the way. The breakfast was great. They helped my girlfriend with a foot injury she had from earlier because his girlfriend was a nurse, so they went above and beyond what was expected for us.
Reinharts houseboat is a fantastic option to visit Amsterdam. It's so close to the center and still quite. The room is perfect and Reinhart is a wonderful host. I definitely would stay here again.
Review for Reinhart
A great three days in Amsterdam staying on Reinhart's houseboat. A quiet location, but within easy reach of the City. The accommodation was exactly as advertised. Bed was comfortable, and the (shared) bathroom clean and spacious.
After a continental breakfast on the boat, we crossed the lock bridge and strolled down the canal side to the ferry, which runs 24/7, and in three minutes, delivers you to Central Station, the heart and hub of Amsterdam's famous Canal District.
Reinhart is an interesting and gracious host, and made us feel very welcome. This was a perfect short break in one of Europe's most interesting and vibrant cities, and we shall certainly come again.
Reinhart was very friendly and everything was perfectly fine.
We Werke well informed how to get to the city and also other stuff.
The location is perfect for a nice night after a noisy day in Amsterdam.
Everything was perfectly clean and the breakfast was a dream in the morning.
All in all we have nothing to complain.
Highly recommande, would do it again when we visit the city.
Reinhart was there to welcome us on our arrival and was most hospitable. His houseboat was very clean and most comfortable, and was a truly relaxing place away from the bustle of the city. The location was perfect being only a short walk to the free bicycle and pedestrian ferry, and then a 5 minute crossing to Centraal station. We have been to Amsterdam several times, but this was a truly enjoyable experience. Reinhart also prepared an excellent continental breakfast for us. We have absolutely no hesitation in recommending fellow Airbandb travellers to stay with him, and we will also recommend him to our friends going to Amsterdam.
Communication with the host was great at all times. We arrived to find the houseboat and room prepared for our arrival, with chocolate awaiting on our bed. Reinhardt is welcoming and relaxed as a host.
We loved being in such close proximity to the Eye Filmmuseum, and being surrounded by water, ducks and boats.

About the Host, Reinhart
Hi, I am Reinhart, welcome to my profile: I have been living in Amsterdam for many years now. I work in the (international) creative industry. I like to travel, do city trips but also like to visit remote destinations. Love to be on the water, visit museums, go to theaters, enjoy live music, festivals, nice bar's and to meet nice people.
I enjoy to open my house to anyone that likes to have a truly local Amsterdam experience (on the water). We might meet soon?
