Lastly, this is a full home. It is likely you will other guests and housemates. We do our best to accommodate everyone. As such we have among the lowest rates in town. I will say that our home is not the Ritz. If you expect that then you may be disappointed. We've been told we have a hostel feel. This is the feel we are going for and these are the types of guests we hope to attract. If you are going to be rude or critical of our home then please book at a hotel. If you are going to be down to earth, friendly, respectful and communicative then we do our best to do the same and we would love to host you :)
If you need an additional twin bed let me know a week prior to your arrival and I can put it in the room
Feel free to park on the street but watch for the no parking sign. There is also one little parking drive in front of the house. Alternatively you may park in our backyard lot. Access is to the south of the house adjacent to us and then around back.
Interaction with Guests
We are open and friendly to interact with guests. Engage with us and we are likely to engage back :) Please know that we are not traveling as are you. We are here living our day to day. If we seem busy it is not because we are ignoring you or unfriendly, but likely just distracted. We will always try our best to say hi.
We are so close to everything. I love being able to walk everywhere I need to go.
Other Things to Note
Also, we are pet friendly!
Deadbolts to the house are to be locked upon entry and exit.
If keys are not returned it is a $20 charge
Mutual respect is all that is asked. Let us know if we can accommodate you in any way.

Wow. The BEST non-hostel hostel-like AirBnB experience I've had. As a former hostel worker at The Blue Moon Saloon & Guesthouse in Lafayette, LA. (one of the best hostels in this country imho) I have to say that Brent & Co. were welcoming and fun and have achieved a hostel-like experience in their home. It was close to everything downtown and the ducks, chickens, rabbits, and cats were all as friendly as the folks there. Kudos and thanks again for the stay.
Location was superb. Other roommates very friendly. The forest room was very comfortable - the bed was very soft (a dream for most but a little too soft for our chronic back pain issues). The bathroom downstairs is a half bathroom. Shower is upstairs, tub was high to climb into. Would not recommend for someone who has trouble going up steep narrow stairs or into a high tub. We really enjoyed our stay - in the perfect location. So glad we chose this place over Sugarhouse neighborhood. We would definitely stay again. Make sure you close the second door to the bedroom because the cute cats will get in. The cats woke us up the first night because they kept wanted to get in the room & they were creative they go in a few times. If you want to stay at a laid back late 20s type house - this is it. I feel like some people would be offended that the bathrooms were not cleaner. Perfectly acceptable in my opinion and the bedroom was very clean. I have a mild allergies to cats and was fine staying at this house. They also have another AirBNB bedroom on the first floor - it would be cool for a group to rent both and have the first floor of the house (I think that room might not be rented under the same host). Brent was extremely prompt and helpful with all responses. Only other concern is the houses right next door to this nice 5 bedroom AirBNB seemed very low income, not really a problem. But coming home late at nigh we definitely got some looks - just be aware of your surroundings & always remember to look & deadbolt lock.
Brent's place was just as described. A very hostel feel, with a changing cast of friendly, entertaining characters. Also very convenient for getting out and about.
Brent was a great host! Very accommodating for our last minute stay in SLC. We were only there for a short night but would love to come back and see the town and his 2 sweet cats again soon:)

Brent was not at home the night I stayed, but gave very clear directions to find the place, wifi password, locks, and eggs in the fridge. We arrived late and left early the next morning and didn't get a chance to chat with the other houseguests, but folks all seemed kind and respectful. Great location close to the Trax.
