Beautiful home with a great floor plan. We all enjoyed a quiet time away from our busy lifestyles in this home. Sally was easy to work with even though I made changes to the dates a couple of times.
I stayed in Sally's house with my dad for 4 days of hiking in the Sedona area and a day trip to the Grand Canyon. Sally made us feel welcome by leaving coffee and muffins, and leaving lights on in the house. We never met her, but she was always responsive by phone and text, answering all of our questions.
Sally's house was fantastic and exactly as described/in the pictures - light-filled and beautifully decorated. It's in a peaceful and green residential area. The drive to Sedona was easy and incredibly scenic.
I particularly loved the steam shower in the master bedroom (so relaxing after long days of hiking) and the deck, which has a table where we ate dinner outside. The beds were also really comfortable. I don't think you can go wrong with this house! It can definitely fit way more than 2 people. I guess the only things I would note are that there's no TV and no microwave as far as we could tell, but that didn't matter to us.
Our family had a great stay last week. The house was clean, comfortable and accommodated all our needs. The weather was perfect and we all enjoyed the opportunity to sit out on both porches. Great for stargazing too!
Sally was wonderful, as was the house. She greeted us, provided us with both written information of things to do in the area and (even more valuable) her perspective too! The home has a great feeling - the photos, while beautiful, don't do it justice. We loved staying here and would do it again in a minute.
Lovely home nestled against a hillside. 3 bedrooms, 3 beds, 2 bathrooms. Master suite includes a steam room/shower and a separate tub with jets. Lot of books and card games and open space- but I didn't see a TV, so if that's something you are interested in, let Sally know. You have access to a full kitchen, pots and pans, even some basic spices, although I definitely brought my own groceries. If you are going to be staying for a week and never going out to eat, you might want to let her know to be sure you understand the space in the fridge.
I would stay here again. It was peaceful and relaxing. We went into Sedona frequently, which was about 20 miles away. I don't think this is the best place for families with very young children, as the things which I find tranquil might translate to boring and/or breakable if you have a wild 5 yr old.
My group was here for a birthday weekend, and we loved it. There is a lovely deck where we enjoyed the sunset with a glass of wine and some snacks. There's a hammock in the back which none of us tried but looked really tempting. I really wish we had spent more time in the house, but I had adventures to attempt in the local areas, so I guess I'll just have to come back another time.
Sally stayed up very late to let us in to the house when we had airport and traffic issues. She was very kind.
Sally's house was so beautiful and inviting!! The pictures do not do it justice really.. Sally herself was extremely accommodating as we were getting in late and she waited to let us into the house. My friends and I had an excellent weekend, are planning a return trip soon.
Superb. The house has great ambience and is very comfortable. The host, Sally, is super nice. We arrived very late - at 2 am - due to flight delay and she was waiting for us.
The neighborhood is very quite and pleasant with no traffic and plenty of wildlife.
We did not have any major problems during one week long stay and are very pleased.
