Sydney's major tourist destinations are within easy walking distance:
The Opera House, CBD shops and theatres, Darling Harbour, Circular Quay and The Rocks are all within 30 minutes walk or 6 minutes by taxi.
The Botanic Gardens, Art Gallery, Oxford Street / Taylor's Square are 10-15 minutes walk.
Lifestyle amenities - train station, supermarkets, King Cross nightlife and dozens of quality restaurants are within a 5 minutes walk.
Double Bay, Paddington, Darlinghurst, Surry Hills are only 6 minutes by taxi. Bondi Beach is 12 minutes by taxi.

The nearest train station (about a 5 minute walk away) is Kings Cross Station.
(Kings Cross is not an officially designated suburb of Sydney, but rather a locality encompassed within the suburb of Potts Point and known for its nightlife)
It is on the ‘Eastern Suburbs Line” which runs as follows:
• Central (the primary inter-change - all trains pass through this station);
• Town Hall (effectively the centre of Sydney CBD)
• Martin Place (the up-market,business and financial centre)
• Kings Cross (at the centre of Potts Point)
• Edgecliff (closest to the up-market Eastern suburbs of Double Bay and Woollahra)
• Bondi Junction (location of Sydney’s largest Westfield shopping centre and short bus trip to Bondi Beach)
Travel time is about 4 minutes between each station.
TAXIS run frequently along Victoria Street and are easy to hail down. We’d be surprised if you had to wait longer than 5 minutes for one.
Is the place safe? The apartment complex is very secure. There is CCTV coverage at all entrances. To enter the apartment there is an initial security gate, then once inside the complex one walks across a courtyard to another security door to get into a group of 8 apartments, then one goes up a flight of stairs to the apartment which has its own deadlock. Outside the apartment complex Potts Point has a vibrant village atmosphere with tree lined streets and outdoor cafes. (Real estate agents refer to this section of Potts Point as 'the Parisian end') At the other end of Potts Point there are nightclubs which get busy with 20-30 year olds from about 10pm to 2am on weekends, but they cannot be heard from the apartment - in fact you could sleep with the windows open without being disturbed by music, people or traffic noise.
A maid for cleaning? Cleaning during your stay is not included in the price. There are laundry facilities within the apartment as well as professional laundry and dry cleaning services adjacent the apartment complex on Victoria Street. What a great stay in an apartment with views over Sydney's iconic bridge and opera house. We were met by Tim, the apartment was exactly as described and we had a very enjoyable stay. It was a toss up whether to eat out in the local 'hood' or enjoy a BBQ with those wonderful views. Will definitely stay again. Thanks for late check out also!
Location of apartment is good! From the balcony, we get the splendid view of the garden, harbour bridge, Wooloomooloo wharf and Sydney Opera House in the day and at night.
In fact, walking to the various attractions are about 30 mins only! There are bars and pubs, supermarket and restaurants around the area. Walking distance yet not noisy at the apartment.
The apartment is cosy and kept clean. Tim has utensils and cutleries for cooking and eating in.

This is really an amazing apartment with amazing view. Very tidy. Tim is a very nice person. We arrived earlier and Tim managed to let us in. We really enjoyed our stay.
I am more than happy to give Tim's apartment five stars! Not only does the property have a great view in an ideal location, Tim was also awesome to deal with! He always communicated very well and was very detailed in his instructions for finding the apartment, which was very helpful as someone new to Sydney.
The property was spotless and the lady who met us with the keys was great to deal with.
