  • Where to begin? The week was absolutely perfect. The house is only the top quality and comfort. Everything was very clean and no detail overlooked. Saundra is so pleasant and fun. She was easy to communicate with and even accommodated the dates we needed, as well as, was very understanding about our flight delays due to weather. The kitties were friendly, but tucked away if that is not your thing. We quite enjoyed being in the house. The room is more than enough space and we opened the doors and windows to let in a nice breeze. Very relaxing atmosphere.
The location is perfect. There is so much to see and do within walking distance. A short walk down the hill to public transit in a safe quiet neighborhood. The breakfast left outside our door was beautiful and tasty. This was our first Airbnb experience and we are hooked. When we return to San Francisco we would love to see Saundra again and stay at her place. Her hospitality is truly a gift.

  • Our stay with Saundra was amazing. We loved her home, the location was perfect,so easy to get to the city. Saundra was extremely helpful in explaining how everything worked and her breakfasts made the morning nice and relaxing.

  • Our first experience with Airbnb and will not be out last. Saundra is a perfect host. There when you need her and yet never intrusive. Loved her home and she gave great suggestions on restaurants nearby.

  • Where to begin...not to sound repetitive but Saundra is the hostess with the mostest!
...and we really mean it. Saundra extended a warm welcome when we arrived even helping us with our bags. The suite was awesome...large, airy, and sunny over looking the secret garden out the back of the house. Her own beautiful art as well as other nice pieces decorated the walls and that was really cool. Saundra, when asked, talked to us about her pieces as well as the other artist works giving us an unique insight which we loved. The continental breakfast, left outside the bedroom door each morning, was always fresh and delicious.
Saundra is a very warm, open, engaging, beautiful person. We look forward to going back not only to stay in that lovely home but to see Saundra again.
Also, the location is great! Easy walking to the Castro, the Haight, the Park, Hayes Valley, Duboce Triangle.... On the weekend we found parking right out front too!

  • The beautiful house of Saundra and her son is located in a charming, safe and lively area of San Francisco, which we totally loved. The room is huge and beautifully decorated, has a great garden view and super bed. We loved the bathtub in the bathroom, but there is also a shower downstairs for those who prefer that. The breakfast that Saundra served every morning was delicious.

Saundra is a wonderful host and such a warm, kind and inspiring woman. We hope to come back one day.

Don't look any further if you're looking for a place to stay in SF. Saundra and her home are amazing!

  • Our stay was simply heavenly. Saundra has created a wonderfully warm and indulgent environment. Her home and garden are beautiful, the bedroom and bathroom luxurious, private, incredibly comfortable and well equipped and with careful attention to detail and discreet service, superior to any 5 star hotel. Saundra made our arrival and departure very easy, and we left feeling relaxed and inspired.

We would be more than delighted to stay again and I couldn't recommend enough to others taking the opportunity to stay there.

  • We had a lovely two night stay in Saundra's beautiful home. Arriving straight from the airport it was great to come to a place that was instantly so relaxing and stress-free. The bedroom is huge and full of light and, like the whole house, beautifully decorated. The house is located close to the Castro and Haight and only a 10 minute walk to our favourite restaurant, Nopa. Saundra is a wonderful host, friendly and helpful, and we very much appreciated the breakfast she left for us each morning. A lovely touch. The only downside was we couldn't stay longer. Highly recommended.

  • This was only my second airbnb experience but it could not have exceeded my expectations more. The room was absolutely beautiful, very quiet, and Saundra couldn't have been nicer or more hospitable. The location is great as was the breakfast. I highly recommend Saundra and her exquisite house. Her cats are also adorable!

  • This was our first experience staying in someone's room for airbnb, and it was great! Saundra is the perfect host. She's very welcoming and responsive but you still have tons of privacy in her beautifully decorated home. What we really loved was the location. The place was walking distance to a bunch of great neighbourhoods in SF for food, drinks, shopping, etc.

I'm a working artist and mother in addition to hosting travelers. I love all of my jobs and engage in them with passion and dedication. I'm a born host, with an active social life, and welcome people into my home. My AirBNB experience has been utterly amazing, with guests expressing their gratitude for the environment, warm family atmosphere, engagement and helpfulness, and attention to detail such as breakfast, personal attention, and little luxuries. I believe I gain as much from the experience of hosting as my guests do from staying with us. Having traveled a fair amount, and stayed in pensiones and B&B's worldwide, I have a sense of what it's like to share someone's home. We are not a hotel, but a family home with lovely and comfortable accommodation and warm, engaged hosts. Welcome to our home.
