The Space

Situated a easy ten minute stroll away from beautiful Copacabana Beach, Bazza's Place is an idyllic and relaxing two-bedroom, one bath pet-friendly holiday home available for private use.

The interiors of Bazza’s Place were designed to evoke the classic Australian beach houses of the 1960s without forgoing the modern comforts today's discerning holidaymakers have come to expect. With an eclectic mix of vintage and new furnishings, original photography, art, anime, movie posters and surf memorabilia, the split-level lounge room has down-filled three seater and two seater sofas, a large coffee table (perfect for board games), entertainment console, a small desk and a comfy leather reading chair.

Fully renovated in 2011, Bazza’s Place also offers a fully-equipped state-of-the-art kitchen, modern bathroom, three flat screen televisions (including one outdoors), Wi-Fi, air-con, ceiling fans, gas heating, instant (and endless) hot water, heated towel racks, washer & dryer, alarm system, DVD/Blu-Ray players and library, and an iPod docking stereo system. Bazza's Place is also stocked with games like Scrabble, Monopoly, backgammon, Uno, Jenga and more, and the bookcase is filled with best sellers and magazines sure to suit anyone's interest.

The eat-in kitchen comfortably seats four and is fully stocked with flatware, glassware, cutlery, pots and pans and baking dishes. The kitchen also has a Miele gas cooktop and fan-forced oven, dishwasher, French door refrigerator, wine fridge, microwave, capsule coffee machine, kettle, toaster, blender, slow cooker, sandwich press and other conveniences.

The master bedroom features a queen size bed, a mounted flat screen television with DVD player, built-in wardrobe and drawers, bedside tables and lamps, and alarm clock. The second bedroom features a double-sized bed with bedside tables and lamps. The fully tiled modern bath features glass shower with rain shower head, sink and vanity, heat lamps, heated towel rack and a modern toilet, and the internal laundry has a 6.5kg Bosch frontloading washing machine, 4kg Simpson dryer and ironing board and iron.

People come to Copacabana for the beach and Bazza's Place is an easy stroll to one of the best the NSW Central Coast has to offer. A manageable walk for holiday-makers of all ages, you'll pass Copacabana Primary School and its adjoining parkland and tennis courts as you wind your way down to the beachfront and adjacent shops with cafes, a chemist, bakery, newsagent, bottle shop, grocery store and more on offer. There is a bus stop at the end of the driveway for Busways' Route 66C which goes to Gosford station.

It's the outdoor areas that truly set Bazza's Place apart from other holiday accommodation in Copa. The north-facing backyard brings in natural light all day long and offers unobstructed views into a nature preserve that is home to native fauna including kookaburras, owls, rainbow lorikeets, whip birds and more -- and bushland for a far as the eye can see. The double-sliding doors open to create a seamless connection between indoors and out, filling the home with the fresh sea breezes and sweet fragrances from the lush garden.

Set far back on the 690 metre square block, the outdoor entertaining area of Bazza's Place offers complete privacy with distinct areas for dining, relaxing or exploring. With mature trees, manicured lawn, decking throughout and a mix of native and other flowering flora, the backyard is the perfect respite to relax with the weekend papers, a book or even your iPad with full-strength password-protected Wi-Fi accessible outdoors. With a large Weber-Q BBQ and outdoor television at your disposal, your meal can be enhanced by the herb garden directly adjacent with chives, thyme, oregano, lemon grass, tarragon, chillies, rosemary and more all available for guest use. Fully fenced and secure, pets also have plenty of grassy places to lie in the sun and dry off after a swim and run on the beach.

Bazza's Place was previously named "Camellia Cottage" and from the front veranda it's easy to see why. The lush and mature camellias throughout the front yard explode into a red, pink and white display throughout the colder months, while the fragrant star jasmine fills the air in spring. Warmer months see gardenias and frangipani on display while the surrounding gum and palm trees provide shade from the summer sun.

Bazza's Place is a private retreat exclusively for you. Owner will only contact you on an as-needed basis.

The Neighborhood

Copacabana is a popular surfing and swimming beach on the NSW Central Coast. Our little slice of paradise also features a whale viewing platform. During the winter months between late May and early August, the Humpback Whale can sometimes be seen migrating to the warmer waters of the Central Coast region off the Three Points. The whales often come quite close to the coastline due to the northerly currents at this time of year.

Getting Around

The bus stop is at the end of the driveway... it couldn't be more convenient. The 66C goes to Avoca Beach, Erina Fair and to Gosford train station.

While children are welcome, we ask parents to carefully consider if the split-level layout of the interior and backyard, the bedding configuration and lack of bathtub is appropriate for their needs.

Lastly, there are a few rules all holidaymakers are to adhere to:

1. No smoking indoors and all cigarette butts to be disposed of properly.

2. No large parties.

3. No pets on any indoor furniture at any time.

4. Large dogs must sleep outside in the secure and fenced back yard.

5. If you are staying your pet, please pick up all poo before you go.

6. Garbage bins are collected Monday mornings; if your stay includes a Sunday night, please take the bins to the curb (alternating weeks for green or recycling bins).

7. Holiday makers are responsible for proper use of the back-to-base alarm system. Costs for patrol call outs will be deducted from the bond ($100 per occurrence). Simple operating instructions will be provided.
