• Monarch Cottage is located in a private, members-only lake community. All guests are required to complete a short digital registration and print their parking & trash passes at least 48 hours before arrival—we’ll send everything you need after booking!

When your crew is ready to go exploring, the sandy shores of Pines Lake are steps away from your front door, and Locust & East Lakes are only a 2 minute drive. We have a kayak you can use to explore the lake! Your whole family will love swimming, fishing, and soaking up the sunshine. And the Locust Lake Village (LLV) community always has some fun events planned.
Your safety matters. This property has a Ring camera with audio at the exterior part of the house, this will be on at all times but don't worry, it does not look into interior spaces.

We provide 8 complimentary wristbands, and more are available for $9 per day when you check-in at the LLV office. They'll grant access to all the amenities LLV offers. Wristbands are only required for guests age 12 & up, and you are not obligated to purchase them if you opt to not use the lakes, etc. There is $25 charge for each wristband not returned after your stay.

There is parking in the driveway for up to 5 cars. You'll have access to the entire home, wooded yard, fire pit, private hot tub, treehouse, Locust Lake Village's three lakes (Pines, Locust & East), tennis courts, fishing areas, ski hill, sledding hill, archery range, and bird-watching blind.

Please reach out if you have any questions or concerns prior to booking. We welcome friends and family, and the primary renter for each group must be 25 years or older.
Please note that this is NOT a party house and we ask that guests be respectful of our neighbors and observe the community quiet hours of 10pm - 8am while outdoors.

To enhance your protection, this property is equipped with a Ring camera with audio capabilities situated at the exterior of the house. The camera will be actively recording the following areas throughout the duration of your reservation:
- Entrance to the property
- Front Deck
- Driveway
- Backyard Fire pit

Please be assured that the camera is configured to respect your privacy and does not have visibility into any interior spaces.
To comply with local regulations, guests are required to complete a pre-registration (3) forms before the reservation starts. Failure to do so and attempting to check in (in person) without completing the form will result in a $250 fine. Last minute bookings (within 72 hours /3 biz days) will have a $35 fee paid to the Locust Lake Village
There is a $5 per car fee (payable online at pre-registration) to help keep the community's private roads in good shape. Thanks for understanding!
