My 1 bedroom apartment is located in the heart of San Francisco, in romantic Russian Hill. Great restaurants, bars, and shopping can be found literally steps away.
Public transportation is immediately accessible. Walk 30 seconds to hop on a cable car to Union Square or Fisherman's Wharf or take a 10 minute walk to Fisherman's Wharf filled with breathtaking vistas .
My apartment is constructed in the classic San Franciscan Victorian style. It can accommodate up to 4. Full kitchen. Original wood burning working fireplace. View of the Golden Gate bridge from roof and cable car from the front rooms make this a true SF experience.
The apartment is decorated in a warm and inviting style, a mix of modern and local SF vintage. There are a large amount of books and unique magazines to pass the time with.
1 bedroom with a full size bed. It can sleep 2 comfortably.
2 front rooms with their own couch, 1 converting into a queen size bed, the other containing an L sectional couch. (These rooms have doors that can enable the rooms close off for privacy.)

1 kitchen w/ stove, oven, & microwave. Also, a french press, pots and pans, etc.
1 vintage bar with 2 chairs.
Original inlaid hardwood floors.
Original wood-burning fireplace.

Supplies for a great time in SF: blankets for picnics, or folding chairs for the roof.

Additionally, as a musician, I have a full size piano that overlooks cable cars passing by, a cello, a guitar, and a mandolin. Feel free to play them if you know how. Otherwise, just admire from a distance. ; )
Start your morning off in the sun-filled front rooms sipping tea, watching cable cars go by and finish the day off with a glass of wine on the roof deck watching the sun set over the golden gate bridge.
San Francisco is a magical place. There's so much to do and see, and I would love to help you do that.
Located on the famous Hyde Street, my 1 bedroom apartment looks out on the famous cable cars of San Francisco and exudes iconic San Francisco. I waited months to snag an apartment in this exact location. You will be able to step out the front door, and immediately hop onto a cable car that will take you down to Union Square and the downtown area.
This is an extremely safe street. As a single woman, I have never once felt uncomfortable.
It is two blocks away from the famous "Crooked Street" (Lombard & Hyde), two blocks away from a public full tennis court that looks out over the bay including Alcatraz and the Golden Gate Bridge. Two blocks down the hill you can find restaurants of every cuisine, wine bars, pubs, salons, gyms, groceries, a hardware store, and unique boutique shopping on Polk Street. The Marina is also a short walk away. Also, don't forget to turn to your right to see boats coming in and out of the beautiful San Francisco Bay. You are also a 5-10 minute walk to Fisherman's Wharf and Ghiradelli Square, or a 5 minute bus ride as well.
Also, if you bring your running shoes, you are 4 miles from the base of the golden gate bridge. This is San Francisco's most beautiful and famous run- you'll see Alcatraz and the beautiful boats along the marina.
If you happen to have a motorcycle licenses and insurance, we can also discuss rental of my beautiful red Vespa - the perfect thing for the hills!
The neighborhood is super safe and great to walk-in with stunning views in every direction.
Across the street you will find a wash and fold laundry spot, a tapas restaurant, one of the best sushi restaurants in the city (they do take out!), a pizza place, a corner store, my local wine bar, and the famous Swensen's ice cream parlour (the original!) from the 1940s. All of the ice creams and cones are made on-site. All of this within 1-2 minutes walk of your front door.
I have a bedroom and 2 front rooms. The front rooms have doors that can close and become their own bedrooms. I have a couch that folds out into a queen size bed, in additional to a sectional couch. This apartment could easily fit 2 couples.
It is on the 2nd floor with the entrance inside the apartment, for maximum safety. The tenants are quiet and respectful. Please do the same.
There is a TV which does not have cable attached- this is how I make sure I take advantage of my city. However, it can access movies and TV shows via my Hulu and Netflix subscriptions. There is also an Apple TV- you can play your own music through the speakers with your iphone or log on and rent movies through your itunes account!
All in all, this is the quintessential San Francisco experience if you're looking for a safe, clean neighborhood with easy access to the sights!

We really enjoyed our stay there! Nice apartment, really good location, and good informations by Kristen!
We would definitively stay there next time we go to San Francisco!
I must say that Kristen's flat is a truly San Francisco experience. Very cozy and convenient, Closed to all the attractions The city has to offer. I'll be short on words to describe her place. You should experience staying at this place. I recommend her flat 200%.
Thanks Again Kristen we had an marvelous time at your flat.
Charming apartment at a great location. Thanks Kristen!
What a place!
Kristen was the perfect host and had all the information ready for me once I booked the place. An amazing location with the cable cars going by every so often... a true San Francisco experience! The apartment is very spacious and the instruments everywhere give it the perfect artistic touch. It was convenient to many locations (like Lombard St.) and GORGEOUS views of the entire bay area. Unfortunately, I didn't go on to the roof until my last day and immediately regret that. Breathtaking and perfect to get lost in your own thoughts. Everything else was great. Wifi was fast and the APple TV/Netflix/Hulu gives you more than enough entertainment options. When I come back, I'll definitely be knocking on Kristen's (airbnb) door again! :)
We absolutely loved staying at Kristen's charming apartment, it really added to the our San Francisco experience! It's in a great super central spot, it's light & nicely decorated and makes you feel like a local due to the great buzzy Russian HIll area it's in. We checked out a few of Kirstin's recommendations such as the Wine Bar and Restaurant Frascati's across the street and loved it! Although we had a car, it was ok to find parking a few block away, but it's so central you indeed don't need one. Kirsten was very easy to communicate with and the whole check-in and our process went really smooth. We'd definitely recommend staying at Kristen's!
My experience w/ Kristen was fantastic! She was incredibly communicative and detail oriented in preparing for our stay. Her apartment is wonderful and the pictures don't lie! The location is in a great neighborhood, and I would definitely stay there again!
We stayed at Kristen's place for the weekend. The cable cars are quaint but yes, you will hear them. The view from the roof is spectacular. All in all, a pleasant stay, and - a bargain!
The location is amazing! The apartment was clean and bright. Kristen was a great host and responded quickly to my question. The view from the roof was amazing. You might wonder if the Cable Car will make to much sound: definitely not, it's all part of the charm. I would recommend this place and come back.
