This bright and cozy apartment is on the second floor of a converted row house in the hip neighborhood of Lawrenceville. Within walking distance of great coffee shops, bars and restaurants and very close to the lively Strip District where there is an abundance of fresh produce, fish and flowers. Public transportation is just a three minute walk from the house and you can easily get to other great neighborhoods in the East End.
The apartment features one large bedroom with a queen size bed. There is also an air mattress available that can be put in either the living room or bedroom. The kitchen is full size with a gas stove, French Press, toaster, blender, dishes and flatware. Pillows, linens and towels are all provided for you, as well as a small assortment of toiletries that are in the bathroom.
While there is no television I will provide you with the Wi-fi password. There are also speakers in the living room so that you can listen to music while you hang out around the house.
There is parking available on the street and it is not difficult to find a spot. I will leave the keys for you when you arrive and you will have the apartment completely to yourself while you are here. For folks who book a longer stay there is a chance that I may stop in to water my plants. Overall my apartment is super comfortable and warm. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!
Abbey has a nice big apartment was in a good location, very close to multiple buses. It's about 10 minutes from downtown and very close to the Stripe District.
Abbey was very helpful when we were late to book and when my payment didn't go through. She was even patient when her texts didn't reach my phone so we couldn't exchange information about the apartment.
Thia oldish partment is maybe half an hours walk from the strip in a quiet neighborhood. It has the amenities needed, except for in our case a lack of air conditioning which didn't work.
Abbey was a great host--very accessible, easy to communicate with, and happy to help in any matter. Her place was perfect for our trip--great location in Lawrenceville. It was very clean, had a very comfy bed, and had a great deck out back perfect for a cup of coffee in the morning. The neighborhood was nice and quiet, and had a lot of character. I would definitely recommend Abbey's place to anyone traveling to Pittsburgh. A very smooth and enjoyable experience all around!
Abbey's place was clean and comfortable. The fresh bread was amazing to have for breakfast in the morning, as we were running the marathon and it came in handy. Communications were terrific as well. Thanks for making our stay very comfortable, Abbey. We appreciate it.
We had a lovely weekend the comfortable and cheerful nest that is Abbey's apartment. We loved the layout of the apartment, which made it feel spacious (to New Yorkers), as well as the personality that came through with all the decorative touches. It had great light. It was also quick driving distance to the main street of Lawrenceville.
Great location, and a comfortable apartment with a nice kitchen (with the ability to make good coffee!) and a balcony. Abbey has done a great job updating a typical Lawrenceville apartment and decorating it in vintage style. I didn't go out on the balcony, the weather was too cold, but I imagine it would be great in the summer. Easy parking, convenient to the Strip District and downtown. The mattress is fairly soft, which some people like (I do) and some don't. Overall a good and well located place to stay in Pittsburgh.
Abbey's apartment was great for two people. We really enjoyed her decor and the space was very generous. Its a good location in an up and coming neighborhood with lots of interesting stuff within walking distance. Very easy parking. Abbey was in good contact, despite inclement weather that kept changing our travel plans. She checked in frequently, and answered all our questions.
Abbey was a great host. Everything was exactly as described and she was friendly and helpful despite me arriving in the middle of a blizzard.
A great place for a weekend getaway! We had a hard time getting out to explore Pittsburgh just because of how lovely it was indoors. It is small, quaint, simple, and comfortable. Of note, there is one queen bed and one queen air mattress. Could accommodate four people, but two would definitely be more comfortable. Bring your own kitchen supplies as hers are limited (or plan to dine out). Overall, an incredible place to stay...lots of natural lighting/sunshine!
Abbey's Lawrenceville apartment had a convenient location: close to Bloomfield and a little further from downtown Pittsburgh. The roomy apartment sported unique, artistic décor, such as vintage photos and an original pastel drawing of an angelic Cookie Monster. The apartment's heating system served its job well during the frigid weather. In short, the place serves its purpose well as a temporary domicile.
