Check In
  • This was a great beginning to our airbnb experience. The house was exactly as listed and there were no surprises. Daniel certainly has the gift of hospitality as we not only felt very welcome in his home but also very comfortable. This home is well maintained, clean, very pleasantly decorated, and very user easy. I appreciated the flexible check-in as we made some last minute alterations to our schedule that changed our arrival big deal and not stressful thanks to our very accommodating host. Within minutes of arrival we had a sense of warmth, security, and intrigue with the host, décor, books, and overall ambiance. The location, which is barely on the outskirts of Sebastopol, worked out very well for us as we spend the majority of our time between Santa Rosa, the Redwoods, and out at the coast. We love Sebastopol and enjoyed several of the restaurants, community market, and Taylor Made Coffee which our host tipped us off to. Lastly, I appreciated the phone call from our host, Daniel several days before our arrival to go over the details and the how-to upon arrival and departure. A stress free wonderful experience that we certainly plan to repeat.

  • Daniel was extremely helpful and accommodating—he was available for questions and responded them promptly. His house is beautiful and even when he isnt around, finds ways to make sure you get a local feel of Sonoma County (++ for the binder!)

  • We had a great time at Daniel's charming and interesting home. We felt welcomed and looked after even though Daniel was not there and communicated with us by email. Great area to explore for shops and restaurants, and of course the ocean which is only about 20 minutes away. We would definitely stay again.

  • This was our second time staying at Daniel's house...and it couldn't have been better. His comfortable house, his beautiful and peaceful garden, and the relaxing quality of life in his community made our time there quite enjoyable.

We were in Sebastopol to celebrate our daughter-in-law's PH.D. graduation. Daniel's house is just 2 minutes from their home, so it was very convenient to all festivities.

Thanks Daniel for hosting us. We'll be back again.

  • We had an excellent stay at Daniel's home, and recommend it to others. The home was clean and comfortable, with a nice patio for us to enjoy our dinner and wine. The only thing to be aware of is that the bed mattress is a bit soft and saggy. Daniel was traveling at the time, but was very accommodating in the simple arrangement to obtain access. After talking to Daniel on the phone and seeing the traveling memorabilia in his home, it would have been nice to meet him in person. However, regardless of whether or not Daniel is present, his Sebastopol home is a great place to stay.

  • Great first experience with AirBNB - Daniel invited us in, walked us around the place (the whole first floor - bedroom, bath, living room, kitchen, patio). Very inviting, good decor, comfortable. Really nice to come back to each night after a busy day.

  • We loved our stay at Daniel's home. It was very comfortable as we had full use of the downstairs - the bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and living room. Daniel was very responsive via email and so thoughtful. We had a last-minute change in plans that meant a friend was going to join us for one night and Daniel was very accommodating in letting her sleep on the couch! The location was perfect for our wine-tasting adventures. The yellow folder of winery and restaurant recommendations was much appreciated.

It's evident from the decor in the house that Daniel's quite the traveler. I wish he'd been in town during our stay so we could hear about his experiences! We'll definitely be back next time we're in town.

  • Daniel is a personable and kind spirit who loves to travel. He graciously opened his home to us during our brief stay in Sebastopol and we're thankful for the opportunity to meet him.

From the lively conversations we had swapping travel stories, to the beta on great nearby hikes and food options, we couldn't have asked for a better experience. His home is clean, wonderfully decorated and had all of the amenities we needed to make our time in Sebastopol and Sonoma county a memorable one.

We would definitely stay with Daniel again on our next trip.

  • Thank you Daniel for having a very comfortable, clean, accessible place for my Aunties to stay. They enjoyed themselves very much and we enjoyed having your place as a home base for the family. I would recommend your place to all travelers. It was incredibly welcoming and if you have time...a surfing safari! All in all, I'd call it paradise!
