A principal landmark is the 46-metre tall golden Chedi whose present appearance was the result of the restoration work in 1443 by a king of Chiang Mai. It has long been regarded as a major place of worship. Other architectural works include the ancient-style brick arch adorned with fine designs and the pair of sculptured lions at the door. There are also a square-shaped Chedi and a Khmer-style Buddha statue.

beautiful garden, rich fruit, convenient kitchen, elegant hostess, and delicious soup
Sirikorn was very welcoming and we had no problems in identifying the place. She was a perfect example for all the qualities of a good host. The homestay is very beautiful with the garden and all the rich fruits in them.
She helped us out every time whenever we wanted to go to Chiangmai by personally driving to the nearest bus station and ensuring we get the right bus to reach our destination. She also drove us there one of the days. After a gruelling day working out with all the available adventure sports activities in Chiangmai, it was very relaxing to head back to Lamphun and make the late night smoothie with all the fruits from the garden !
