Sathorn Area
Sathorn is perhaps best described as Bangkok's financial district, The area is also light on shopping options, certainly in comparison to the mass of traditional markets and huge modern malls found elsewhere in the city, but there are a few interesting boutique stores.

Shopping
In terms of markets, Sathorn has nothing that can compete on the same level as the Patpong Night Market, located just across Sathorn Road in Silom. The only real market of note is the Suan Plu Market, a part indoor bazaar popular with locals buying fresh meat and veg, but with a pleasant atmosphere and great place to pick up some cheap street food and do some quality people watching far away from the tourist markets.

Great apartment in an excellent location. Loved Suanplu and its delicious food stalls. Place is clean and very spacious, exactly as depicted in the listing. Parechart was welcoming and responded quickly to all communications. I recommend staying here.

Our hosts, Khun Parechart and Khun Chalerm couldn't have been more accommodating and helpful to us. The apartment block is on a lovely quiet Soi but still very close to the action of Sathorn. Our family loved the roof garden in the evenings - fantastic view of Bangkok at night. The apartment itself is light, airy and very spacious, bottled water was delivered to us and there was a basket of fruit on our arrival which was a nice touch. A lovely place to stay.

We had a wonderful time staying in Parachants apartment. It was vert spacious and clean and in a fabulous part of Bangkok off the main road so very quiet but sti close enough to catch the sky train etc. used the swimming pool e dry day too. We would stay again.

We loved our stay in this nice and spacious apartment in Sathorn area, Bangkok. It is the perfect choice for a family since the apartment is about 140 sqm. The location is good. The apartment is located on a small little soi close to Sathorn road. Restaurants, hairdressers, 7eleven, etc. is close by. Walking distance to BTS and also walking distance to Banyan Tree (visit the moon bar, great view) and to Lumphini Park. Parechart is an excellent host. We did not meet her in person since she was out of town, but she always replied on our messages very quickly and her staff helped us and made sure we had everything we need. We loved our stay in Parecharts apartment and we hope to come back some day!
