I had a relaxed stay at Linda's and Earl's place. Beautiful view in my room and lots of goodies in the fridge.
Linda and Earls were wonderfully welcoming and helpful. Even though we arrived quite late, Earl showed us into the studio. It is a very functional space with stunning view to sunsets over the ocean and the lush vegetation running down from the house to the shore. We were offered delicious fruits.
The house is located not far from Captain Cook in a peaceful neighbourhood, conveniently situated close to an excellent snorkelling spot. It is a sweet place to relax and enjoy the beauties of this side of Hawai'i.
Linda and Earl are very generous and helpful hosts. the place itself is lovely. It was great to get up in the morning and see the ocean in front of you, and to do to sleep at night with singing birds outside.
the house surrendered with coffee trees and it was blooming when I was there.
the house itself got all that needed and much more. I liked it a,lot!
A charming apartment with incredible views! Earl and Linda were more than accommodating with our last minute trip; we really appreciated their hospitality and flexibility. We'd definitely stay there again!
Linda and Earl are super friendly hosts and the little apartment is a real treasure. We've been provided with fresh fruits, coffee and a lot of local snacks upon arrival. Moreover, they gave us some tipps about good snorkeling spots (go to "two steps", we've spotted spinner dolphins, sea turtles, humpback whales and rays there) and even offered us to rent their boogie board - which due to the bad weather, we unfortunately never used. The apartment is cozy, equipped with everything you'll need and has a fantastic view down to the ocean.
Linda and Earl were wonderful hosts! We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay on the Big Island. The room was very clean and so well stocked. It had everything you could ask for including great snacks and drinks! The view was great and the breeze was wonderful for sleeping. We would definitely recommend this spot to others.
About the Host, Linda
We have recently retired and are looking for vacationers that are adventurous in the day and want to come home to a quite oasis in Paradise at night. We decided to stay by the Painted Church and the Puʻuhonua o Hōnaunau National Historical Park in Captain Cook ,Hawaii, because we like Hawaiian history. From our location, we love the 180 degree view of the Pacific and always sit out to watch the sunset. Come join us, watch the sunset, in our quiet peace of paradise.
