Not a B&B. Completely remodeled, kitchen w/island, full bathroom w/shower, paired motorized beds, murphy bed, off street parking. Private Wisteria entrance. Koi pond/stream. Artists can negotiate access to Char's Clayhouse, kiln, and Art Studio.

# Dishes, pots, pans, utensils, towels.
#Keurig coffee system, complementary coffee pods and tea bags.
# Private bathroom: wheelchair access, shower, sink, toilet, heat lamp in ceiling.
# Coffee: Keurig System w/4pods, Krupp's Drip & Espresso Machine, French Press, and Grinder. Beans at Etcetera Coffeehouse a block away.
# Your apartment is completely private.
# Keyed private entrance and second padlocked side gate entrance from 7th street.
# We provide extra sheets and pillow cases for you to change. If you run out, leave the used in Char's gallery right outside your door for us to clean. We cannot enter you apartment if you bolt the front door and latch the back door.
Interaction with Guests
Our guests value their privacy and come with an agenda of places to go and see. We meet and greet them, tell them where all the switches are and leave them alone. We live upstair in a separate residence that they can call anytime.

# You are in the middle of the Lower Town Arts District, 16 storefront galleries, studios and shops are all around you. Some will be open every day, all will be open Second Saturdays of each month.

# Paducah is where the Tennessee and the Ohio Rivers meet. 7 blocks away are the rivers and constant activity of the towboats moving barges 24/7
# Land Between the Lakes National Park & Planetarium is 25 minutes away.
# Metropolis, home of (yes) the Annual Superman Festival and a Harrah's Casino is just across the Ohio River about 20 minutes away.
# Paducah Raceway, NASCAR Dirt Track, 20 minutes away, see website.

# Call when you are an hour or so away so we can have the gallery lights on.
# Use headsets if you like your music or laptop movies loud.
# Check out is anytime after noon unless we have someone arriving the day you leave, then it is noon. We will tell you which applies to your stay.
# Frogs sing loud in and around our pond during the season.
# You can buy our book about Lower Town, or Char's art anytime. We live upstairs, just call us.
From Sep 10 - 17, 2017 the minimum stay is 5 nights.
Sit outside next to the Koi pond and enjoy the calming sound of waterfalls and the shaded patio. Watch the fish, birds bath and turtles bask in the sun.

Public Information Officer for the Northern Mariana Islands Council for the Arts and Culture.
2004 moved to Paducah, KY with my husband Jay, from the San Francisco Bay area
to be part of the Lower Town Artist Relocation Program.
Work generally consists of mixed media.
Images are both figurative and abstract.
Work is neoexpressionist with a surreal slant.
Subject matter is based on what is unseen or unspoken and strongly felt.
Subjective content and voice of the work
addresses human issues concerning this short earthly sojourn.
