There is plenty of room when the Murphy bed is pulled down. Sit outside next to the Koi pond and enjoy the calming sound of waterfalls and the shaded patio. Watch the fish, birds bath and turtles bask in the sun.

What a treasure of a space! Clean and modern with great art and all the finishing touches you need for a perfect stay. We walked everywhere we needed to go. Char gave us lots of wonderful recommendations of where to eat days before our arrival so that we could make reservations. Really was a wonderful retreat for us.

The hosts thought of everything a traveller could need and provided many extras as well (beautiful art work, wonderful books to peruse and some treats as well!). My son is handicapped and the apartment was very accessible to him in every way. The hosts provided a wonderful list of Paducah's highlights and they were spot on with the restaurants they suggested. Truly a gem in a cute little town!

Five Stars is not enough! We very much appreciated all that Jay did for both of us. Cheerfully being willing to provide rides to and from the airport was beyond incredible! Because the washer and dryer were being replaced while we were there, Jay even offered to do our laundry and returned it, on hangers. How special is that!?! The touches of home were great, making our meal preps easy. (Note that there is no oven.) Just like a 5-star hotel, Jay and Char even provide fluffy robes for down times. Access is simple and parking is off-the-street and right out the door. Although it was too cold to sit on the patio, we're looking forward to going back during warmer times and sipping our tea while we listen to the birds outside rather than through the windows!

Jay was a wonderful host and did a tremendous job of giving us our orientation. We would gladly stay here again and only regret we didn't have more time. I highly recommend staying here. A+

We really enjoyed our stay. Jay met us when we arrived, showed us around, and how everything worked. I also chatted with him the next day and he is a wealth of information about he town. The place was clean, well organized, and comfortable. We also really enjoyed sitting on the back patio. The books were really cool and interesting. An great place to stay in a unique neighborhood.

Wow what greats hosts and what a great retreat getaway. We were in town for work and turned it into an anniversary weekend. So glad we stayed. Everyone in town knows Jay and Char and treated us royally since they knew we were guests of theirs. The space was comfortable, clean, organized, and all around awesome.

The Pinecone Retreat is a wonderful place to stay. Very comfortable and easy to be in this space. The water and shower pressure is fantastic. Char and Jay thought of everything! I would highly recommend staying at their Airbnb!
