Enjoy en-suite bedroom in a house with a garden, located in private renovated and very calm street, full of history. An atypical place to the looks of a village and close by the trendy and lively area Canal Saint-Martin. Very good transport links.
My mews house is on three levels and has its own secluded courtyard full of plants.
The room available for rent "the red bedroom" used to be my daughter’s (who is now grown up and has left home). Located on the first floor, it is freshly decorated and has its own private bathroom and toilet. Bedsize : 140 x 190
It's main assets : comfort and calm.
Breakfast is shared with me in the open plan kitchen/diner on the ground floor, with a view of the courtyard through the French windows.
The house is comfortable, cosy and quirky, with an eclectic collection of decorative items. It is also very quiet, which means you might hear the birds singing in the morning or late afternoon. My two small friendly dogs will warmly welcome on arrival and every morning at breakfast time (they only live on the ground floor by the way).
You will have very good wifi connection. And I shall print tickets, etc... if needed.
Interaction with Guests
On arrival, I shall explain to you my neighborhood, and give you various tips according to your wishes to make your stay truly enjoyable and special. Share "my" Paris !
I will also be happy to help you book a restaurant for an amazing brunch or dinner
Anyway, Paris is on my doorstep and it is all yours!
What to do close by ? You have a great choice. Immediately close by, you can enjoy the local colourful markets, go to typical Chinese restaurants, have a drink or a special meal in a very French restaurant with a terrace, away from touristy places. You can also stroll around another nearby lively area, around rue Oberkampf, full of different bars and places to be, or go down to Canal Saint-Martin – a 6 min walk away - and enjoy small popular cafés, shops and nice restaurants for lovely daytime visits or a great evening atmosphere. And if the weather allows it, even picnic or share a drink along the Canal.
Want to go out? Within five minutes’ walk, there are two tube stations (Belleville and Goncourt) that lead you directly either to the centre of Paris (Chatelet/Beaubourg/le Marais….) or to other interesting areas (Montmartre/Pigalle/ Place de l’Etoile…). The nearby tube station République is also very convenient to reach almost every area in Paris. Alternatively, you might fancy taking a bus or renting a bicycle (Velib docking station nearby).
Minimum two nights - price includes breakfast.
Other Things to Note
Before arrival, I shall send you all precise instructions to come to my place (airport, train station, taxi...)
PARKING : if you come to my place by car, a parking place might be available in the private courtyard (price 10 € par night).

If you come back late, thank you to be nice to my neighbours.
No music too loud.
No smoking in the house. It's of course possible in my own little courtyard.
If you have allergy to animal's hair, I won't be able to welcome you.
Thank you for turning off the lights of the bedroom when you leave.
Everything was perfect.
Agnes is very kind and give us a lot of good informations of Paris.
Breakfast was fantastic with fresh food every morning and the room was very comfortable.
We will recommend Agnes house to all our friends.
Big huge to Agnes and her lovely little dogs.
We stayed here for 4 nights and it was perfect. Very good location in the center of Paris, the room is clean, comfortable and very nice, also wifi works good. Agnès is an excellent host, very welcoming and caring, she'll help you to get easily to her place and she'll give any kind of advice on where to go and the best ways to move around. Also having breakfast and chatting with her is very nice, she makes you feel at home rather than in some random b&b/hotel. And her dogs are friendly and peaceful. Definetly a great experience.
We come with my son, he is 9, to visit Paris on Easter. Agnes made me and my son feel welcome in every way.
She gives a warm welcome and was so informative about Paris and local area. This was our first Airbnb experience and it was absolutely fantastic. We definitely to come back, to stay in Agnes red room.
Thank you Agnes!! :)xx
We had a short 3 night, 2 day, action packed stay with Agnès in Paris and it was amazing; hugely because of all of her local tips and hospitality while we were there. Our stay started with turn-by-turn directions to our rental that went without a hitch. Agnès was there to meet us and show us to our clean and comfortable suite in her home. The house is in a prime location and we were given all of the tools and information, including a personally highlighted, as discussed over the delicious Parisian breakfast she provided each day, transit map to have a couple of sightseeing days in La Ville Lumière. Agnès had recommendations for restaurants and off the beaten path attractions that made our trip feel unique, one of our favourite parts of our trip in Paris was a restaurant she recommended on the canal near her home! All in all, Agnès could not have been a better host, honestly indispensable, and the location of the flat was perfect for us.
Perfect I every way. Ages made my daughters feel welcome in every way. They raved about the breakfast and warm welcoming atmosphere.
Hôtesse très attentive avec de nombreuses idées et adresse. Lieu magique dans un passage parisien. Une deco pleine de soleil et de joie. Nous reviendrons
