Sedona was very welcoming and gave us ideas about where to go and what to see. Her house is beautiful and just what I expected from the description I read. Sedona cooked wonderful breakfast for us each morning. She went above and beyond as a gracious host.
Thanks, Judy, for being such a great communicator. I appreciated your understanding in knowing that I was out in areas that did not have phone accessibility. I am glad you picked me to be your final destination for a soft landing before returning home. I told Leigh about your quilting. She is definitely setting up above the store to do some sewing. I look forward to seeing you again soon.
Sedona was the most exceptional host on every level! Her place is just as described, only better. Over the course of our 4-day stay there, she provided the most amazing breakfasts, showed us around the local area, and made a cake to celebrate my husband's birthday! Her dog is the most delightful housemate, quiet and loving. The heated saltwater pool at her community clubhouse was a real treat, as was the exercise room with new equipment. We felt like we made a wonderful new friend by the time we left, and we definitely hope to come back some day.
Staying with Sedona exceeded all expectations! My friend and I loved our 5-night stay at her home. Sedona is thoughtful, accommodating, and was incredibly helpful during our stay. She offered us her annual park passes and pointed us to day hikes that included water stops (a must within the heat). She made us a scrumptious breakfast each morning, and the coffee---ohh, decadent! The accommodations were very clean and the beds were super comfortable. The drive to the city of Sedona is quick (20 minutes) and gorgeous from Cornville.
Sedona is such a warm, loving person who has much to tell and share with her guests. We so loved our time at her home. A highly recommended a stay!
Staying with Sedona was like staying with a friend I didn't know I had. She was a fabulous hostess from beginning to end. She was very eager to share her knowledge of the area and the best places to visit. When I stayed with her I had already checked out most of the 'typical' sites and she was very excited to be able to tell me about some of the hidden gems.
She is very communicative and open, and is able to find the balance between giving you personal space when needed, but engaging you when you're open to it. She was even so kind to take me around to some of her favorite spots one of the days I was there.
She is the kind of host you hope to encounter on airbnb, going above and beyond to give you a safe, friendly, welcoming experience.
Her dog Prada is very well behaved and doesn't bark once she's met you. She's so quiet sometimes might forget she's there.
I stayed in the room with the full sized bed. It also had ample closet space, a nightstand, lamp, ceiling fan and a desk with a chair. The bed was very comfortable with a supportive, but not too firm mattress. The bathroom, located just outside of the bedroom, and only used by the airbnb guests, was very clean and had everything you could need.
The neighborhood is a quiet gated community and feels entirely safe.
Its location in relation to the surrounding areas (Jerome, Sedona, Oak Creek, Flagstaff) makes it a very convenient home base if you're planning on doing some exploring. Most rides took between 15-30 minutes depending on the destination.
Overall, a fabulous experience and highly recommended.
Sedona was a generous and thoughtful host. She took me on a tour from Old Town Cottonwood to Jerome the first day, and otherwise helped me get oriented to the area. The rooms were ample and comfortable. Since I had early morning events every day, I made breakfast on my own with the plentiful supplies Sedona provided. In all, I had a lovely stay, and Sedona was a great host.
This was our first experience with a "private room" on airbnb, but we were excited about staying with Sedona because of her rave reviews. She did not disappoint! She was incredibly kind, generous, and hospitable. Sedona even let us borrow her park passes, which saved us a bundle - we were there for 12 days - and gave us great recommendations for hikes, restaurants, and things to do and see. She was a delightful hostess, respected our privacy, and we definitely recommend her home to anyone looking for a fun and unique experience! Her home was clean and the beds were some of the most comfortable we've slept on while traveling with airbnb. Great wifi too.
Sedona was a lovely host, tour guide, and breakfast chef. My daughters and I really appreciate her kindness and hospitality. She has a lovely, peaceful home. We also had fun with Prada!
About the Host, Sedona
I love the history all around me. i enjoy showing Sedona and other areas to guests who are here for the first time. I enjoy Native American ceremonies and rituals. I am considered to be an 'Elder' in that way.
