During your holiday we will do our best so you can have the best holiday possible. We can help you organize car hire and airport transfers. Our housekeeper and pool cleaner will visit the house weekly to clean the house and change the bed sheets and towels. If you have extra guests we will provide a folding bed, and if you are visiting with young children we'll provide a baby cot and high chair.
Most of the other rental houses in Gozo are run by real estate companies which usually give less of a personal welcome because they have dozens of houses to take care of and are usually less flexible then us. On the other hand, this house is family-run and we also live nearby, so while you are with us, you are secure that we will be able to attend to any needs you may have in no time.
This Holiday House is perfect to truly experience the wonders of Gozo. It is on a quiet road and all our neighbours will be locals, most of them farmers and fishermen! Many visitors are mesmerised by the tranquility and stillness of Gozo. Weather you are a group of friends, a large family or work colleges, come and unwind for a holiday you will treasure forever!

The village square is just a few minutes away. You can see what's at walking distance to the house in one of the photos. There you can find all basic amanitas. This house is away from touristy areas. Staying at this house will give you a memorable village-life experience. Your neighbours will mostly be fishermen and farmers! Since Gozo is a small island you can visit any on the villages and beaches in just a few minutes. The capital city of Gozo is called Victoria. There you can find museums, attractions, shopping, cinema, parks...etc. If you are looking for anything in particular please don't hesitate to ask!
Getting to the house is easy. We normally suggest to our visitors to book an airport mini-van transfer that will take you from the airport in Malta, to the house in Gozo. We can help you with this. If you want to rent a car or jeep, you can also book it with the same company. There are always parking spots available outside the house.
Renting a car is obviously the best option to explore Gozo. But if you do not want to rent a car you can use Gozo's public transport. The bus network in Gozo is very efficient and cheap! You can use it to visit all the major attractions and beaches on the island. There is a bus-stop just a short walk away from this property.
We had a great time, the house and the pool is very nice. Michael and his family were very friendly and helpful and the neighbours are friendly as well. We would definitely recommend this house! Thank you Michael for a pleasant stay!
Michael and his family are wonderful! They are really helpful and nice. The house is amazing!!!
Michael was an excellent host and we adored the house and the island of Gozo. It was such a pleasure to stay there apart from the construction next door. Michael handled everything very well and made sure our stay was great. The house is beautiful and full of character and we would definitely stay there again. Michael greeted us with food and beverages and the neighbors near the house were very welcoming. We definitely recommend this house for families traveling to Gozo.
Thanks Megan! I'm glad you loved the house and our tiny island! Yes do come again.. and bring your family/friends.. you know there's enough rooms for everyone! Apologies again for the construction.. I talked to the builders they said they will be finished in a week. Just a bit unlucky I guess!
We had an amazing time in Gozo (Malta) at Michael’s house!! It far exceeded all of our expectations, it was incredibly spacious and the pool was an absolute dream... Michael was such a great host and bent over backwards to make sure we had a fantastic holiday. All of the locals that Michael put us in contact with were also such wonderful help. We will DEFINITELY be going back to stay at Michael's place for a beautiful, relaxing holiday! Thank you so much, Dana :-)
When we approached Michael, the option of renting one of his families' farmhouses seemed too good to be true. Michael was reliable and quick in his responses and handled our requests in a flexible manner. When we arrived, we surprised him with typically Dutch goodies... he turned out to have a big set of Maltese delicacies in return! Including the eggs shown in the pictures :D (next morning -> lovely breakfast next to the pool). The house is massive and situated in a nice, quiet street close to the ferry. A central area of Gozo, nice spot to explore the island from and make wonderful trips & dives :) Michael has many contacts and hooked us up with divemaster Franco of Blue waters dive cove, and Martin from restaurant Willage (who opened his place up especially for us!). We had an incredibly lovely time and hope to be back soon - making serious plans already; even though we just got back? ;) Oh and Michael, let's rendez-vous in Amsterdam in April!
I have a very special place in my heart for Gozo after this trip. Michael was an amazing host and his home is absolutely gorgeous. It is conveniently located near Mgarr Harbour where you can catch the ferry to Malta. My boyfriend and I weren't sure if we should stay in Gozo for the entire length of our trip before we got there, but we are so glad we did. We made the right choice! We kept hearing so many great things about Gozo, and they were all true. Malta is busier and full of tourists, but if you do want to spend time there it is very easy to take the ferry back and forth. All the locals we met were friendly and welcoming. We had coffee at the local clubhouse in the square every morning. The local gym was also nearby and only 5 euros per person for a week! All of the beautiful beaches and bays were easy to get to from Michael's villa. There are a number of delicious restaurants nearby to choose from such as Maji. The car rental company that Michael recommended, Gozo Garage, provided free drop off and pick up service. Michael was very easy to communicate with from beginning to end. He even picked us up at the ferry when we arrived and dropped us off at the end of our trip. This villa is super CLEAN and HUGE with a washer, AC, pool - everything you could possibly need. I would love to go back! Thanks for a wonderful experience in Gozo, Michael!!
