If you want to enjoy a true bed and breakfast with an Ireland native, this is the place. Good food, great beds, and Ellen is the cherry on top of the cake. She is a rich source of Irish history and current national affairs, as well as being a warm-hearted, fun to be with hostess. Her intelligence and humor were a tonic. She made us feel like family and we want her to come and stay with us in Oregon.
The setting of her cottage is on a quay. It is peaceful and beautiful. The locals know her as Ellen-the-quay, so that is how you should ask for her. The beds and bedding are top quality and make for a great night's sleep. Ellen will show you the real Ireland.
