The listing was exactly on point. This apartment is wonderful! Clean comfortable and ready to live in! The location is perfect. 2 blocks from the subway station, 2 blocks from either a Trader Joes or Whole foods and 2 blocks from Michigan Ave where all the shopping you could ever ask for awaits. With 24 hour door staff you can feel secure coming and going any hour of the day. Andrea was a wonderful host. If I had any questions she quickly responded with answers, and truly wanted me to have a great experience during my 6 week stay which I did. I would definitely stay here again!
My husband and I stayed at this awesome place for a whole month of December and I have to say the condo was just perfect for both of us. The owner Andrea was so nice and helpful when I needed to ask her a couple things and she even recommended us a few restaurants that my husband and I should have dinner ( by the way we went and the places were amazing). The apartment is exactly like you see on the pics and is very cozy as well. The kitchen has all you need if you like cooking your food sometimes like I do. The gym that is located on the p floor is very nice and has everything a good gym has to offer. The laundry room is also on the same p floor and has lots of washers and dryers so no problem doing laundry anytime. And finally, the location is PERFECT with easy access to restaurants, Whole Foods just a couple blocks away and so Traders Joes and Eataly. Tons of stores to go shopping around and a L station a couple blocks away as well. I would 100% recommend this place for your next visit to Chicago!!! Thanks Andrea for being sooo nice to us!
The apartment was great and in such a fantastic location. I much preferred it to staying in a luxury hotel as it felt more like home being able to cook for myself and not having a maid come in every day.
Andrea was a great host too. I never actually met her but she was always available via email and often replied to any questions I had in minutes.
Other reviewers have already noted some of the cons, such as not having a washer dryer in the condo. I never found this to be a problem. The apartment is well stocked with everything you might need (except perhaps a full spare quilt) for cooking, plenty of towels, sheets and wifi.
I'd happily recommend the flat and Andrea as a host and would gladly stay there again.
Andrea was a great host. She was very responsive and pleasant to communicate with.
The apartment is in a great location. It is right downtown, which is exactly what I was looking for. The apartment finishes are upscale. The kitchen is nicely stocked with dishes and pots and pans. The bedroom has a nice, large closet. The apartment building's roof deck is amazing! They have tons of grills and it is the perfect place to cook dinner in the summer. The work out room is also extremely convenient.
The one bad part about my experience was that the apartment very dirty when we arrived. That being said, after I cleaned the apartment myself, I had a great experience.
Overall, the location of this apartment and the building amenities can't be beat.
We always have the apartment cleaned after each guest leaves and we try to leave everything in excellent condition. I never had a complaint about this before and I realize how important it is. If the cleaning didn't meet the expectations, I apologize and that's definitely something I'll supervise more closely in the future.
This place was amazing! Incredibly central (right by the subway, buses, shopping, pubs, lakefront) and a really nice place. Andrea (the host) was so easy to deal with. I want to go back!
The reservation was canceled 23 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
I stayed for 2 months and enjoyed the location but the apartment has some flaws.
+ Great location (everything is within walking distance, red line stop is very close)
+ Cozy apartment with decent furniture
+ Great view
+/- A very small gym in the building which is not heated though so it got chilly down there
- Door men are not very friendly or helpful and they lost one of my packages
- Very loud heaters in the apartment that produce very dry air
- No washing machine in the apartment (located on the Plaza level)
