I or my parents will be present for check in and we will be contacted very quickly throughout the guest's stay.
THE TRIP AS AN EXPERIENCE: As the Paris Rive Gauche also the Oltrarno (which is on the left bank of the river) remained the only area of the city center which is not dedicated exclusively to tourism. You can find housewives who do their shopping at the local market, artisans who work in their shops, art galleries and important antique shops . Some of the most typical restaurants of the city are in this area and are mainly frequented by the Florentines.
Near the loft there are buses to go to every part of the city and all monuments, museums, most important places and the main railway station are no more than a 15 minute walk
Solo un pò di normale rispetto per il posto in cui vi trovate.
The location of this place for the price is simply amazing. There's a great restaurant just downstairs that the hosts work in. I had a couple really minor issues with the wifi, it didn't really have a very good signal and eventually just cut out, but that's not a big deal really. I managed to find a place a couple minutes away that had wifi and great coffee. The place was clean and in a nice neighborhood. It had all the things you'd need and for anything else there is a supermarket within walking distance. Very beautiful area in Florence, full of medieval and Renaissance era art and architecture. It's a very busy area during the day with students and tourists shopping and exploring (that's what we're there for right?) but it quiets down at night.
Me and my friend stayed in the apartment for three nights and it was lovely! The apartment was as pictured, very nice and cosy. The kitchen had all the necessities and there were fresh towels and sheets. The placement of the apartment is great, very close to all the sites to see yet on a quite street. A very good choice!
We didn't meet Maria Luisa, but she was very helpful before we arrived. We got the keys from Fabrizio, who was very welcoming and made sure we knew he was available in the restaurant below the apartment if we needed him. The apartment was perfect for my friend and I to stay in, small but a great size for two people. The location is good (and quiet!) and it's an easy walk across the Ponte Vecchio to the city center. The only "problem" we ran into was the WiFi, which was slow if it connected at all. This made it a little harder to look up sites and plan our day, but plenty of cafes have WiFi so it didn't really create an issue.
In general this was a perfectly adequate place to stay; very close to the central areas of Firenze. However the wifi was really poor, it was too weak to connect to the internet for the duration of the stay. We had two power cuts in one day which caused the fridge to leak and we returned to find water all over the room and wet luggage. The loo leaked constantly which meant a permanently wet floor and a leaking boiler with a bucket below which we had to keep emptying because it was always full! The heater was broken, but Fabrizio kindly brought us a new one that worked well.
It is a really nice place to stay. The location is very good!! And Maria Luisa and her father are really kind en flexible! The only thing you have to keep in mind is that there is no 2 persons bed.. I would definitely recommend this place!!
L'appartamento si trova in una zona ottima, carino, vicinissimo a molte delle attrazioni più belle della città. Forse un po' troppo piccolo, però ben tenuto e curato
They were very kind and responsive! The space was very clean and quiet. I even had a lovely dinner in their restaurant below the studio. Great location and easy to walk everywhere. Wifi signal was just a little weak. I recommend anyone to stay for a visit to Florence!

Maria Luisa Costa a young Sommelier live in Florence, very interested in contemporay art, I work also in the beautiful restaurant of my parents, Fabrizio and Donatella, located next door to the apartment. We are all fans of Florentine cuisine, Tuscan art and Pinocchio!
