  • Simply put. We had a magical long weekend staying here on Lake Erie. We were wanting for nothing and our hosts were very friendly and lived close by if we needed anything. What a bargain this is. I hope we will return again in the future. If you are looking to get away from it all this is the place. Great views great time.

  • The house is very nice, as shown obove in description and pictures; everything worked fine. It was very clean. Paul was a helpful host before and during our stay; also flexible regarding our late arrival. There were also bicycles availabe, which we didn't use. We really enjoyed the stay and can recommend the house without any restrictions.
The lakeshore in front of the house was ideal for swimming, mostly sandy ground and you could walk a while, before it's getting deep.

  • We had a great stay. The cottage was very cute, cozy and stocked with kitchen supplies, movies, towels, bbq, etc. Everything you could possibly need (aside from your own bathing products) for a get away.

There isn't much of a beach, but the yard is great and you're right on the water. Only concern for families with small children is that there is a steep ledge leading down to the water. Otherwise, the cottage and hosts are great. I'd definitely come back for a second stay.

  • We enjoyed this cottage so much we might be back in the future! Very clean and functional, only one bed was not very comfortable ( futon) but otherwise very high marks. The hosts are very welcoming and charming. Gave us plenty of good instructions and were helpful. Beach is wonderful although not sandy. Highly recommended.

  • This cottage is perfect if you are looking for a quiet sanctuary to relax and unwind. Swimming in Lake Erie is cool and comfortable. If you are feeling adventurous, I highly recommend heading into Port Colborne. Definitely grab a bite at the Smokin' Bhudda or explore the farmer's market every Friday (6am - noon). Don't forget to ask Paul about his art studio ... you might find a piece of art that you must have!

  • We got back from our trip yesterday and let's just say it was a fantastic get away. It was the first cottage experience for my family and after the kids left while in the car they were already wanting to come back.

The pictures show exactly how the house look it is a very cute place with a great backyard. Paul and Shoshana were an absolute delight! They brought us lettuce, snow peas and dill from their garden which was very sweet. I definitely recommended this place for families with children, the water is just near the backyard and everyone is charming. Plus an awesome part wad that Paul lives only 3 doors down so if you have any issue just give him a ring (we couldn't work the BBQ and we was there to rescue us !!)

Can't say enough great things about the house can't wait to get back next summer or even again this summer.

    GREAT experience !

  • Paul and Shoshana were absolutely great hosts! Not only were they both gracious and accommodating, they were great at recommending local amenities and attractions. The cottage was clean, well taken care of, and beautifully situated right on the beach. The cottage was also perfect for our dog with a fenced in area and tie-up. We would love to come back again some day!
