Giacomo was an amazing host for our stay in Rome. Our flight was delayed and we ended up arriving much later than originally discussed but he waited for us and made us feel right at home. He gave us great recommendations for restaurants + sites around the city. The apartment is just as described and as the photos suggest- I would highly recommend this unit to anyone visiting Rome!
the appartment is located close to Spanish steps and plazza poppolo in a very nice neighborhood with many nice cafés and restaurants. Its VERY clean and is exactly as described in the ad. Giacomo was really nice, he gave us lots of very useful tips. It is a great value for money and i highly recommend this appartment to stay in Rome.
This is a great apartment in a good area of Rome. nearer to the shopping strip, rather than the tourist venues. Giacomo was a very good host assisting us where he could. There was an issue with the main TV and this was replaced. The apartment is well set out with lots of travel books on Rome. There is no self service laundry facilities within close proximity to the apartment and laundry was expensive in the nearby street.
It was our first experience with BNB . Everything was as it was announced . Giacomo is a very warm and friendly person . Your help in our first visit to Rome really was a great added value. I strongly recommend renting this apartment with Giacomo as a host.
I stayed at Giacomo’s flat for six nights. The place is as described in the photos. The windows close tightly to keep noise/light out. The bed is very comfortable. The AC worked well. I did not have any issues with hot water but it was warm when I went. He also provided towels and toiletries. In terms of the internet, as previous visitors have stated, there is a strong signal in the morning which becomes weaker in the evenings. The location is fabulous! The street is beautiful with a coffee bar, gelato place, hair salon and a few other shops on the street. It is very close to piazza spagna and piazza del popolo. There are many shops around the area.
But the best part of the place is Giacomo as a concierge. He sat down with me to recommend where to eat, get groceries, tourist attractions, etc. His restaurant recommendations were great.
I highly recommend this place for its comfort and location.
The apartment was as represented in the photos. Communication with the Giacomo was good, though we never actually met him, and therefore did not have the personal experience (wine & croissants waiting, restaurant recommendations, etc.) that others described in their reviews. We appreciated all the kitchen amenities, which enabled us to easily self-cater a lot of meals/snacks, plus the guidebooks, maps, converters were helpful, and the location of the apartment is indeed very central. For a first visit to Rome, this would be a good base.
