Brand new cozy little apartment in the fanciest area of Rome.
Our apartment has a bedroom with double bed, a living room with sofa-bed that can accommodate two adults and a kitchen area, a brand new bathroom.
Apartment style is very modern. Furniture is also brand new.
Air conditioning and heating are in every room.
We offer a free, but slow Wi-fi Internet connection. Good for email, web browsing, , and chat but not fast enough for Videos, voice conversations or streaming.
Guests will live in Rome's fanciest area, where shops like Gucci and Prada are located.
Sports lovers will be able to take advantage of the large Villa Borghese park close to the apartment.
Guests will be withing walking distance of Rome's most important monuments. In the evening they will be able to comfortably rest in a quiet little street, just a few hundred feet away from the liveliest shopping areas.
The apartment is located a first floor. The apartment is brand new, but the building is 400 years old. Walls are very wide and there is no elevator.
World famous Piazza del Popolo and Piazza di Spagna (Spanish Steps) are 400 yards from the apartment.
Guests can reach Trevi Fountain , the Parliament and the Pantheon, by a 20 minutes walk. Saint Peter is a 30 minutes walk. Capitol hill, the Roman Forum and the Colosseum are about 40 minutes walk.
Spanish steps Metro stop is 400 yards from the apartment and most bus lines of Rome converge to the center where the apartment is located.

When in Rome for the first time, what a wonderful city, we fell in love! Our mini break was a gift for our daughter who celebrated her 10th birthday in Rome. Giacomo was a super host! Very good communication between us from day one, mainly info regarding transport, when we met we sat down and got lots of tips and hints, about the apartment, the area, main city sites and cuisine. The apartment is in the best part of the city really, quite prestige with not only designer shops around but also very good local restaurants and cafeterias, we also felt very safe, calm after midnight. Spanish steps are about 5 minutes walk, lovely when walking back home at night after all day and seeing this place almost empty and calm. Taxi from Ciampino airport is reasonably priced, apart from this ride we didn't use any transport, walking along and seeing the old architecture was perfect for us. The apartment has everything we needed for the stay, minimalism is the best way, we slept very well, fresh and clean. Good surprise we could carry the wifi around so no need to worry about internet just incase you get lots. We love good food, good Italian food, and so we ate most of the time at places recommended by Giacomo, perfect pizza at PizzaRe, bufala mozzarella to die for, I have never had better, Otello was another well established family business for lunch or dinner out. And many more. Missing the Italian way, the morning espresso in small but buzzing cafe, the afternoon cappuccino with view of the Pantheon, the feeling when stroking the old ancient walls with gelato in hand, talking to strangers about the old Roma and learning some new words over thin pizza. Take a tour in Vatican and book it online, saves time, Sistine chapel stunned me. So much to see, thank you Giacomo, Roma, we will be back! Arrivederci

Giacomo was very helpful, pleasant and kind. The portable wifi hotspot that he had for our use was a lifesaver and we used it daily. The apartment is much much smaller then it appears in the photos and is a tight fit for three adults. It would be much better suited for two people only. The apartment itself was clean, save for the coffee machine and the extremely musty smelling hallway that seeped through the door. It was missing a few appliances and the hot water heater for showers runs out quickly. If you have a mold allergy then beware of the hallway. The apartment felt very safe but the outside street is VERY noisy and there was action on it every night until about 2-3 am. It is in a good location and walkable to everything, including the train station. Overall our time in the actual city of Rome was fabulous but the apartment and description of what the apartment has could use some tweaking.

Grazie Giacomo! Giacomo was a very gracious host and spent time with us on our arrival helping us get settled, comfortable with the apartment, and making recommendations for nearby restaurants and sights. Location, location, location...this apartment is in an ideal neighborhood, with close proximity to the Spanish Steps, Piazza del Popolo, metro, grocery store, dining, and awesome shopping. The location makes you feel like you're a local living in Rome, and was very convenient and safe. Giacomo told me the building is 400 years old...amazing! The apartment itself is cozy, stocked with cooking necessities, and comfortably accommodates 2-3 people. We were traveling for 2 weeks and had large suitcases and carry-ons, so it was a bit tight with 3 of us (my mother, son, and myself) and our luggage, but we made it work. I personally appreciated the nearby grocery store and coffee that Giacomo provided...I loved getting up in the morning and making my strong Italian coffee with breakfast before heading out to see the beautiful city. A memorable moment: a sweet lady in the building, after catching sight of my 13 year old son, told me (in Italian) that he looked like Giancarlo (?) an actor that was in Fellini films. We would return again...Ciao!

We were fully satisfied with Giacomo as our host. He was kind, named few nice restaurants and made our visit comfortable. We were thankful for the driver who picked us up at the airport since we flew in a day delay. We totally recommend the small apartment! Julian and Sandra
