About the apartment.
The Apartment is a one bedroom apartment, with a 180x200cm bed in the bedroom with extra-long blankets, 220cm long. In the living room there is a foldout couch 140x200 cm where 2 people can sleep as well. The kitchen contains everything you could need for everyday cooking (stove, oven, blender, coffee maker, water boiler, breadtoaster – French and normal toast.
The apartment is located at the second floor, around 2 km from Aalborg. Just across Limfjorden, within 50 meters from the apartment is plenty of free all day parking (something that can be hard to find in Aalborg.) I don’t smoke and therefore the apartment is also smoke free.
When you rent the apartment you will get a key for the apartment, this key works for the door to the apartment and also to the front door and the basement door, if you need you can get an extra key if you a several people and need so.
There is free wifi in the apartment, 20/2 mbit, and tv.
When you rent the apartment.
You will of cause have the apartment to yourself; I will be living at a friends house. There will be clean sheets for the bed for up to 4 people and there will be towels for you as well. When it comes to food I have the general idea that the main parts of the meal you will buy yourself but when it comes to spices, flower, and sugar or stuff like that it makes no sense that you should by a kilo if you just need a bit, so feel free to use of mine.
I do not charge for cleaning because my general idea is that I leave the apartment clean and get it back the same way, I don’t expect people to vacume clean or do anything major, just that people clean after themselves.
Within 500 meters of the apartment you will find a small shopping mall a park and a Olympic sized swimming pool with separate children’s area and a adult area with spa’s and saunas. 200 meters from the apartment there is a busstop where busses go directly to the centrum of Aalborg including the bus and train station from where you can go most places in Aalborg. In Aalborg you will find great shopping possibilities and the famous Jomfru Ane Gade (Virgin Ane Street) a street full of discos. 2 km north of the apartment is an old Viking burial ground and with that a museum and a café serving Viking foods.
About the host (me)
My name is Martin and I’m 23 years old, I am currently taking my (email hidden) studying economy and business administration. I live alone in my apartment in Nørresundby where I am born and raised, therefore I am familiar with the Aalborg and the area. I am very open and consider myself helpful so if there is anything I can help with –regarding the stay or just in general I am more than happy to help you, I enjoy interacting with people from other cultures which I also do in my studies where I study with people from all over the world.
All in all I hope my apartment is what you are looking for and if you have any questions at all feel free to ask me.
the bus for Aalborg city center is 2 min walk away and the bus trip is under 10 min.
My boyfriend and I stayed in Aalborg for one night, and Martin's place had everything we needed. The apartment had a great view of the area, the living and bedroom were very comfortable. Since we were driving through Denmark with stops along the way, Martin was very responsive and flexible on our arrival times, making it very easy to get into the apartment. Thanks Martin for a great stay!
We were four people staying in Martin's apartment, and it was everything we had expected. Enough space for all of us, and a very nice neighborhood! Walking distance to Aalborg city centre, and a convience store right by the apartment. Would recommend other's to stay here. :-)
Martin was a great and friendly host, and his apartment is clean and neat! We had a great stays
It was very nice
We had a nice visit in Aalborg, helped by a nice stay in Martin's flat. I was initially concerned about the lack of a way to drape closed the bedroom window -- so we wouldn't be waking with the early sunrise at this time of the year, but it was less of an issue than I thought (I did use some eye shields, but my wife didn't seem to notice the early light at all). His place is on the third floor of his building, with no lift to reach it. Happily, Martin was able to help us bring our bags up the stairs, a great help. It's relatively handy to reach the main part of the city via the local bus route, so I can say you would likely have a similarly pleasant stay there as well.
I stayed together with my girlfriend at Martin's place. The apartment is friendly and clean with a great view. Martin is a nice guy and I would come back any time.
Martin's apartment was everything it promised to be. He himself was very nice and easy to do business with. I would recommend anyone travelling to Aalborg to contact him if they needed somewhere to stay.
A lovely place at Nørresundby. The apartment is well furnished and decorated. And there's alot of room for 1 or 2 people.
The location is far and quiet, however it is also a bit far from all the action and attractions.
Martin was very pleasant and welcoming, and made sure everything was ready upon my arrival.
Highly recommend him.
beautiful apartment, even better than the pictures with a wonderful view to the fjord, clean and cozy.martin is a nice guy..great host!!thanks martin..
