Interaction with Guests
I love getting to know my guests as I find everybody interesting so whenever I'm not working and my guests not rushing, I love catching up and 'shooting the breeze'.
The relax atmosphere of Hilo and the aloha spirit is prevalent everywhere here.
There is a public bus called Hale-on that goes around the island and costs only $2.00 per ride anywhere but you'll still want a rental car to really get to see and experience the island. It's appropriately $20.00 from Hilo airport to my house.
Other Things to Note
Just to be clear, this is my home that I live in that I'm sharing with guests by renting out two rooms via air b&b and have thoroughly enjoyed guests from all over the world. Looking forward to meeting you too !:)
neat and respectful to others.
If you know you can't check in before 7 pm please let me know ahead of time.
Dianas place was great! She welcomed my boyfriend and I with open arms and we definitely felt like home away from home! The location was great... close to everything that we needed.
Our hosts were very warm, accommodating and knowledgable about the Big Island and its attractions. They recommended we visit a beautiful town on the northern tip called Hawi, which we found charming and beautiful beyond belief, so much so that we are looking for real estate there. We never would have seen this without their advice. Diana and her husband couldn't have been more gracious and were filled with the spirit of aloha that made our trip ever more memorable. The grounds are rich with blooming plants, from coconut palms and papaya to hibiscus, gardenia and anthurium, giving our senses pleasurable sights and smells. We slept like babies and awoke fresh with the sunrise, ready to begin another marvelous day in Paradise.
My mum and I only stayed 1 night with Diana, came in late and left the next morning...
Diana and her partner were home when we got there and are simply too kind!
The house is great, both room and bathroom very big and totally clean!
We had a perfect calm night with birds and frogs singing in the background.
The next morning the couple served us fresh coconut and papayas from their own tree with coffee and tea and we had breakfast together.
Diana's place is a home away from home and I will return for sure!
They are simply great!
Our stay was very good. we had a very restful night, the bed was extremely comfortable the house was quiet and homey. Diana and her husband were very welcoming to us it was a short trip so we left early in the morning and did not get to interact much. however, when we did it was very positive.
We had a fantastic stay with Diana and Juan. Juan greeted us at the door and led us to the room that was incredibly clean and spacious. He also saved us on taxi fair and let us know he was heading to town and offered a ride. They offered us dinner as well. They are both big hearted and gracious people.
Diana is wonderful woman! Sweet and caring and beautiful :) Her home is cozy and nice, we had a lovely stay and felt like home. Thank you very much!
