A charming home 1 block off Maine St in Brunswick, decorated with art from around the globe, green cleaned, flexible living/ sleep space for 4-5, & ocean breezes in summer. We love to cook, so kitchen is stocked well. Walk to everything great here!

The space

Yes, we're 1 block off Maine St in Brunswick. Walk to everything great about this town, and stay in a bright, cheery, green-cleaned home before/afterward!

Home of tree huggers who clean naturally and recycle/ compost.

Sleeps 4 comfortably year-round (with maybe a 5th in basement).

Comfy California king with natural latex mattress covered by feather bed in "master" bedroom #1. Second bedroom upstairs looks like an old ship's cabin with 2 built-in beds (full-size mattress, works for most adults/kids). Note: this is a Cape-style home with no bathroom on the 2nd floor -- one on the main, and a second in the basement.

In summer months, partially finished basement has a full futon that can be converted into sleeping space (with its own 3/4 bath) and otherwise finished part of basement is an entertainment area with TV.

Loads of books in our library/ office with a few reading nooks through our home.

Guest access

Guests will have access to nearly the full house, minus one office while they are here.

Interaction with guests

We love our town and Maine, so happy to provide advice or answer questions. We'll also leave you a booklet with ideas on places to be active, explore, and eat (including menus).

Other things to note

Becca has traveled the world, so likes to share her art and the practice of taking outside shoes off at the door. Helps to keep the outside dirt and grime outside. :-)

The location close to downtown is fantastic. Becca' s attention to detail and care for her guests is superb. I highly recommend this rental.

Everything was great. Becca was very responsive and helpful. The house is very nice inside and a great location - just a block from downtown. The entire town is walking distance. We were in Brunswick for my daughter's graduation from Bowdoin but we also stayed a couple of days and traveled around mid-coast Maine. It was great. Memorial Day weekend is not high tourist season and it was very relaxed. The only thing I did not love about the house is that there is no bathroom on the second floor. Not a big deal, but an issue.

Becca and Jeremy are the perfect hosts. They are easy to coordinate with, made us feel welcome (including a thoughtful gelato gift card!) and have a warm, inviting home. When we had any questions, they were easy to reach and responsive. This was our 2nd stay at this Airbnb and we would definitely stay again. The location is perfect - easy walk to downtown and access to everything. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay at the Cape house in Brunswick. The host was very informative in sending out information about the house (trash, recycling, hints for a comfortable stay) several weeks before we arrived. The home was well-cared for, and charming! And the beds were comfortable too. It was a short (block) walk to the center of Brunswick -- how convenient! And the host had a notebook full of sites to see and places to dine (with individual menus filed in their too). My family would definitely stay there again!

Becca and Jeremy were wonderful hosts. Jeremy helped unload our car. They have a binder with helpful information regarding local restaurants and shops. The house was tidy and cute.

Becca and Jeremy are thoughtful, organized hosts who made our stay a great one. We felt very welcome in their home and appreciated the thought they had put into our stay. The location is fantastic, just one block off Maine Street and we loved being able to walk to everything in downtown Brunswick. Close proximity to a running trail along the river also was a plus. The home was a comfortable place to relax after our busy days. We would love to stay here again!

My husband Jeremy and I co-own a company (performance apparel that is safe for people and the planet), and also do a bit of consulting on the side. We're in the process of renovating a 1980 Airstream to live in. I'm a mostly vegetarian tree-hugger who has visited 36+ countries and lived overseas in Asia. Have stayed in a gamut of lodging in my work & fun travels -- from the Mandarin Oriental in KL to a homestay in Cusco and a US$3/nt cement block-wall hotel in Delhi.
