The Space

NEW SPECIAL SUMMER PRICE: $300 DAILY, $1,300 WEEKLY; $2,500 MONTHLY.

The best thing about this two-level home is the LARGE OPEN LIVING AREA with 25 ft ceilings and beautiful crown moldings from 1910s.

A full kitchen with Stainless Steel refrigerator and microwave.

3 Bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms, one with double vanity sinks.

One of the largest apartments in Downtown at 2,900 sq ft.

The suite comes with luxury sleeping accommodations. We have a king bed in two of the rooms and the third room houses two queen beds. Because of the closeness and airflow between the rooms, ANY LOUD NOISES WILL BE HEARD IN THE OTHER BEDROOMS.

The Exchange Building, completed in 1910 and listed in the National Register of Historic Places, was refitted in 1996 to house 202 attractive efficiencies, one and two bedroom apartments, penthouses, and handicap equipped units. While the building has undergone a series of renovations, every effort has been made to preserve its historic features, such as the original mosaic tiles, an early-1900’s era Tennessee marble staircase, the elaborate plasterwork, and the granite surfaces. The towering marble ceilings of the lobby exude the elegance of downtown living.

Located in the heart of the Downtown Neighborhood – near the nightlife, restaurants, and shopping – our apartments are the ideal home base for exploring the city. Living in a 19-story skyscraper allows a breathtaking view of the Mississippi River. Walk outside and explore the rich, dense neighborhood. Fine dining is offered within blocks at renowned restaurants such as Rendezvous!, The Majestic Grille, or Flights. Enjoy a pint at the neighborhood Irish pub, The Brass Door, or make the three-minute drive to Beale Street and relish in its famous bars such as Silky O’Sullivans, Alfred’s, or Bardog Tavern. You could also take the trolley to Beale St, to the Pyramid, or around the downtown area, since there is a trolley stop a block away.

The apartments provide a homey feel with a luxurious touch and high-quality amenities. Several of the units located on the higher floors provide our residents a spectacular view. Units come with a kitchen, fully equipped with refrigerator, microwave, oven/stove, pots/pans, and dishes. The Management office on the first floor is ready to assist you during business hours, and, as many of my residents already know, I am always just a phone call away. A laundry room with coin-operated machines and a gym on the top floor are easily accessible through the three elevators.
There are public metered spots all around the building. Since parking is not always available, we provide parking passes for a nearby parking garage (1 block away) at the price of $10/day. Note that these prices are non-negotiable since the garage is operated by a separate business.

Situated at an unbeatable location with competitive pricing, our apartments are a click away from becoming your future home or weekend getaway. Let yourself be inspired by the view and invigorated by the bustling and lively neighborhood. Rest up in our comfortable abodes and make sure to spend enough time exploring the giant playground that is the City of Memphis. Come home and enjoy the many amenities, such as the laundry room and the gym, and the luxurious construction and styling of The Exchange Building Apartments. • Overall experience was great! Very wide open and spacious rooms. It worked out perfectly for the 7 of us with plenty of room to spare. Very unique interior for those who appreciate the little things. Check in and check out were very easy too. Perfect location downtown within easy walking distance to Beale St. Parking was easy and free since the meter parking doesn't cost on weekends. I would recommend it to anyone!

  • Booked into the loft with a group of six for the weekend. This was an excellent location. Clean and comfortable. But the kitchen is not very well equipped if planning more then just a light breakfast you'll need to bring supplies.

  • The apartment is very spacious, as advertised and our party of 5 adults had plenty of room. The location is so close to Beale St and the festival grounds - perfect for walking. Everyone we dealt with was very friendly and we'd love to rent the space again next year.

  • Family had a great trip to Memphis and Sardor and his staff were knowledgeable and easy to work with. The location cannot be beat as you are just a few blocks to Beale Street, The Peabody Ducks, The Memphis Redbirds Ballpark, etc. etc.

Accommodations were clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay here or in one of Sardor's other properties next time we are in Memphis. Highly recommended.

  • We had a delightful stay. The apartment is centrally located and within walking distance of many iconic Memphis venues. The living room was the perfect place to talk and visit with each other. The apartment was large enough for everyone to have their privacy. It was clean and we would happily come back for another stay.

  • Excellent location. Beautiful apartment with high ceilings and comfy beds and couches. Will definitely be looking to rent here again in the future! Thank you Sardor and Charlie for the hospitality!

  • Great SPACIOUS place right in the center of downtown Memphis. Convenient access to Memphis Conference Center, and Main and Beale Street, and just a block from Rendezvous BBQ. Sardor and Charlie where easy to communicate with and met us when we arrived. Wifi was very slow but usable for email, but that seemed to be the case throughout Memphis. Large kitchen, but only minimally stocked, probably not suitable for cooking in. Great stay.

  • Beautiful 4 bedroom Duplex! Perfect for our visit to the Beale Street Music festival. Charley was great and very helpful with our requests. Would recommend this building because of the location. Walking distance to everything downtown memphis.

About
I was born in Uzbekistan and raised in Memphis. I'm the middle child, with 2 older brothers and 2 younger sisters -- and recently a 4 time uncle! I've been fortunate to travel the world in my early years and learned a lot about the different cultures around the world. I enjoy learning about geopolitical history, architecture, and technological advancements that benefit the myriad societies around the globe. To me, Memphis is an exciting city that competes with the great cities of the world as a worthwhile stop for play and leisure. Allow me to host you in my apartments, located in the historic Exchange Building in downtown Memphis.
