This is on Lamma Island...a goergeous tropical island with no roads and no cars, super close to the city. From the city, Its 25 mins on a ferry then only a 2 minute walk to this apartment. and the boat runs every 20-30 mins
It feels a million miles away from the city but its super convenient.
there is s small village 2 mins walk with lots of hip cafes, and small grocery stores. hiking trails that hug the ocean only 2 minutes form my door and access to a an almost always deserted beach is 2 mins away from the house also.
Wake up to the amazing bird song in this cliff-top hideway. Open kitchen, with gas stove, nesspresso machine & vitamix for your perfect smoothie.
This is a simple place with nice lighting, one queen bed, 2 single mattresses.
Flawless ocean view from EVERY window which dominate the entire place. west facing giving perfect sunset view too.
The balcony is also very private as there are no neighbouring buildings.
A great place, breathtaking view, very clean and cozy.
I would only mention in the description that there are like 50 stairs up to climb with your suitcase :) But the view is compensating for everything.
The host was very kind and helpful.
I highly recommend this place for business or pleasure trips as one.
Daniel's place is good to stay, clean, with wonderful seaview, really close to the ferry pier, not so high on a mountain, as others(it was really important on the 8 month pregnant). There are many birds flying around 12-14:00, so you can take amazing pictures. Daniel was also a very helpful host, answering all the questions I asked. The place is near little seashore so it was great relaxing there. The only bad thing was awful smell from somewhere outside, but it was appearing time-to-time, not always, but it's not a hosts problem.
We spent wonderful days in Daniels apartment on Lamma. Everything was nicely prepared und clean. The view is simply amazing and the bed very comfortable.
Especially convenient was the water dispense; because of it we didn’t have to carry so much water up the many steps. The equipment of the kitchen was rather limited though, so that first off all we had to buy 2 wine glasses, a wiping cloth and a kitchen towel.
On the warm days we didn’t always like to use the balcony, because the smell of the 10! dogs (dog breeder?) underneath us on the patio was very unpleasant.
Daniel's place is really wonderful - cosy and neat, with amazing seaview and really close to the ferry pier. It is a very good spot for exploring the rest of Lamma Island which is a great place to stay. Daniel was also a very helpful host although we did not encounter any difficulties during our stay there. I truly recommend Daniel's place to all who would like to explore Hong Kong off the beaten tracks and experience holiday and relaxing atmosphere of the Lamma Island.
Daniel was very helpful when booking his Lamma Island Flat. We stayed over Christmas, so it was not necessarily the warmest beach weather, but the ocean view was wonderful. The flat had a few pros and cons:
Pros: Close to the pier, comfortable bed and sofa, amazing views, great price, felt quite roomy for Hong Kong, Daniel left us towels, and away from the hustle and bustle of Yung Shue Wan
Cons: Felt less tidy than expected, neighbors' dogs were extremely noisy, hot water was unpredictable
Overall, we enjoyed our stay in this Island Hideaway, but if you are not a fan of barking dogs, this might not be the best flat for you...otherwise bring your ear plugs.
The reservation was canceled 8 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
