Going to the city center:
The house is located at 6 km from the city center.
Public transport is on the doorstep: the city center is 15 minutes away by train and the train station, where you can take the DART, is only few minutes walk away.
Close to the house there are also frequent buses that can take you to the city center in 20 minutes (120 bus).
A single fare to the city center, by train or bus, is around 2 Euro.
There are plenty of attractions in the city center, you might also like booking one day trip to several destination in Ireland ( Cliff of Moher, Wicklow Montain, Belfast...)
From the airport:
My house is located 15 km from the airport and by taxi it will take 15 minutes to reach my place.
Please let me know if you want to come by taxi, I can suggest you a private licensed taxi driver at affordable rates.
If you decided to use public transport, once you arrive at the airport the cheapest bus to take is the number 16, it runs every 20 minutes and it should take you to the city center in about half an hour. It costs around 3 Euro.
From the city center than you have two options:
- the bus 120 from Parnell street. The bus will take you to my place in about 20 minutes but it could take longer if there is traffic. My house is just a few meters away from tha last bus stop in Ashtown.
On the bus you have to pay by coins and the drivers don't give you change
- from the city center you can take the Dart (suburban train) at Tara station direction Longford/Maynooth. I live close to Ashtown station. Travelling by train is much faster than bus, but you should check the timetable because during certain hours the train doesn't run very often
The train is a bit cheaper then the bus, around 2 Euro
From the airport take the M50 and exit at the Junction 6 (Blanchardstown) and turn left. At the last round bound in Navan Road turn left again, my place is a few meters away from the railroad crossing.
Free street parking is available.

Enjoy your stay!
Stefania and Robert are very nice hosts. The room is clean and offers all you need, microwave, water cooker, fridge, dishes and cutlery. The bed is very comfy. The bus to Dublin is a stone throw away. So it's easy to get to Dublin city. This room is highly recommended for a short trip to Dublin. Stefania is a very helpfull and pleasent young woman who helps with a lot of information. Wie enjoyed our stay very well. Thank you Stefania, it was a pleasure to meet you
Stefania was welcoming us in her flat. Everything was as it was discribed in AIRBNB. The room with its small bathroom is great and Stefania gave us some good tipps how to spend best our time in Dublin and its suroundings.
Only small disadvantage about this place is the distance to the city-centre. It takes 15 Minutes with the Train or 35 Minutes with the bus. Therefore the neighborhood is really quite and nice. A supermarket is really close.
So i would definitely recommend this place as long as you dont expect to party, come home late and be close to the city-centre.
Thank you for everything. We had a really nice stay at Dublin. The house is beautiful, the room very nice, comfortable and really very clean, in the bathroom are also available shower gels, shampoos and toothpaste. Stefanie is really nice. She prepared for all guests many guidebooks and she is ready to answer any questions. The house is about five minute of walk from the train station. The journey takes about 10 minutes.
Stefania and Robert are great! Can't think of another word to describe them! Enthusiastic and very hospitable! They had all kinds of great tips for me to go to in Dublin and surroundings, are really easy going and if you're lucky enough to taste some of Roberts soup and chicken, dig in!!!
The room is nice, clean and all that you need is there.
If you wanna go back and forth to Dublen Centre their appartment is maybe a bit too far from it. But if you plan to spend all day in the city, or outside the city, it's absolutely great! Just 20-25 minutes (10 if you go by train) and you're in the centre!
All in all: when I go back to Dublin, I go back to Stefania and Robert!
We liked our stay at the house, nice bed with private bathroom, quiet, and it was easy to get there with bus or train. Stefania was very friendly, and ready to help us. The room was apart from the rest of the house, for example we didn't see the kitchen or living room, witch I don't mind, but for that reason we couldn't have breakfast there, only in our room (where we had a private fridge)
So overall a good experience, a place to recommend
Great experience! This was our first time with AirBnb and it was better than expected. We were able to find the place very easily. We took a city buys to a local stop about 5 minutes away. It is also next to the Ashtown exit and was very convenient into Dublin city. The room was clean and a good size. The photos are accurate. You have your own bathroom and all the storage space you need. The best part were Stefania and Robert. We only saw them the first night we were there, but they were super helpful and fun to talk to. We were there 3 of 4 days we booked because we went north to experience the Giant's Causeway. I would recommend Stefania and Robert and their place to anyone looking for a great price on a great room in Dublin.
We had a really nice stay at Dublin thanks to Stefania and Robert. We didn't really had the chance to know each other but they seem to be really good person. They have a really nice appartement. We had a nice room and our own bathroom. The area is quite and not so far from city center. We really recommend this place!
