We had a great time @Sabrina and Eduardo's place.
We rent the full apartment since they were on holidays by the time we arrived. Incredible place, best in the real life than in the photos!!!!
It's a musicians family, so you will find a beautiful piano, next to a very comfortable sofa, with guitars in the upper and the lower level.
They asked us to use everything in the house. We spent the most part of the day walking away, but the great thing about this is that we always wanted to go back because we felt their place like home.
We received the apartment cleaned, with towels for everyone of us (we were four). Everything was exactly as they committed.
We really appreciate the confidence that we have been granted with, since they left all their things in the house without worrying about them, so we pay them back being extremely respectfully with their place.
The neighborhood is great, you can get the subway in the other corner of the apartment, and there is also another subway line 5 blocks away. Very convenient. There is a big supermarket one block away. We've felt safe all the time, no matter what time it was.
This has been our first experience with Airbnb and without any doubts, it's going to be our base line now on when planning holidays!
Thanks Eduardo & Sabrina for everything, you have been awesome with us!!!!
We (a family of four, two adults and two teenage boys) had a ten day stay at Eduardo and Sabrina's entire two bed apartment in July 2013 and had a wonderful time. The apartment was spotless, spacious, well equipped and very comfortable. Having two bathrooms was a real bonus, as was the outdoor patio space. It was a real pleasure to come home to this restful and welcoming apartment after a day spent exploring Brooklyn or Manhattan.
The apt is just around the corner from the G subway train, which doesn't go to Manhattan, but is great for getting around Brooklyn. It's also about ten or fifteen mins walk from the C train, which takes you into straight into Manhattan - and you can use the G to connect with the C if you don't fany the walk. We also used the local bus service which was pretty good. There's a couple of cool restaurants and coffee shops locally, the weekly flea market nearby, a pretty good deli/food store (Choice Greene) on the next street, and a supermarket within five minutes too.
We found Eduardo and Sabrina both kind and extremely responsive as hosts, and particularly helpful to us as we had some last minute, unanticipated changes to our booking. This was our first experience with airbnb, and it was a very positive one.
