Adventure at Altitude: Sitting above 6,000 feet, the air is fresh and crisp. Layer up, hydrate, and explore nearby trails, lakes, and mountain vistas.

Remote Luxury in Nature: Casa Bosque is tucked deep in the Prescott National Forest—ideal for those seeking a peaceful mountain escape. The final stretch of the drive includes an unpaved forest road; a vehicle with higher clearance is recommended during winter or rainy times of the year.

Explore Prescott: A scenic drive takes you to downtown Prescott, where you can stroll Whiskey Row, visit historic landmarks, and enjoy fine dining at places like the Palace Saloon.

Disconnect to Reconnect: Wi-Fi and Smart TV are provided, though cell reception may vary by carrier. Use this opportunity to unplug and immerse yourself in nature.

Eco-Conscious Stay: The home uses a septic system—please be water-wise and respectful of the land we’re lucky to share with local wildlife.

Other things to note
Nature Is All Around: While we maintain regular pest and animal control services, our home's proximity to the surrounding wilderness means we share the area with a variety of wildlife—both inside and out. This can include black bears. These animals are naturally curious and may venture into residential areas, especially when searching for food, please avoid leaving food unattended and do not approach any wildlife. Encounters with wildlife are a natural part of staying in areas close to nature. They are not grounds for refunds.

Water & Wilderness: Due to our remote setting, we use well water, which naturally contains minerals. Hard water stains may be present on fixtures—this is typical for mountain homes and not a maintenance or cleaning issue.

Outdoor Amenities Notice: Please note that the patio awning is not available for guest use due to weather-related damage.

You're in bear country—please help keep wildlife and guests safe:
-No food or trash outside.
-Store all garbage indoors or in bear-proof bins.
