People who visit Alberta's little all-season town of Canmore (pop. 12,000) have big expectations. Once a coal town, Canmore gained notoriety during the 1988 Winter Olympic Games, and it’s been booming ever since as a recreational hot spot.

Just 70 miles from Calgary, Canmore is nestled in Alberta's Bow Valley, surrounded by mountains and wildlife. It's the perfect locale for fishing, climbing, canoeing, all kinds of winter sports, and more. Banff National Park is approximately 7.5 miles from your resort, and world-famous Lake Louise is a little more than an hour's drive away.

If you want to take it easy, take a stroll through the quaint town. Its main street is home to galleries where painters, quilters, stained-glass artisans, and blacksmiths can be found at work. Or just relax in one of Canmore's many charming pubs or restaurants near your resort. With a little luck, you may even see a Hollywood film being shot here.

The room was well appointed with two private bathrooms and separate bedrooms. Host communicated quickly when needed. The resort was quiet and secluded from town. It did not have a restaurant or a bar but the front desk was more than willing to help find a good place to eat in town. Overall a good experience.

The listing of accurate and we were made to feel welcomed. Rey & Cindy made sure we checked in OK and were very quick to respond to any requests. We will definitely be staying at this property in the very near future. It was quiet and had wonderful amenities. All you need is your bag and toothbrush. Thanks Rey and Cindy.

Rey did a great job communicating and keeping in touch with us prior to and during our stay. He was very informative about the details of the resort and check-in process. I stay at this resort everytime I stay in Canmore. It is a beautiful, clean space. Better than any place in Canmore/Banff area.
