This eclectic studio is in the Marigny neighborhood located half a block to the French Quarter. Its within walking distance to all the downtown attractions and public transportation. There are many bars and restaurants only a block away, the French Market, Jackson Square, Frenchman St. and Bourbon St. are all a 5 minute walk. City Park is a 1.5 mile walk up beautiful Esplanade Ave.
The studio has a comfortable queen size bed and a living room with a kitchen that is stocked with pots, pans, and plates. The mosaic bathroom is the star, it has a long tub with a dual head rain shower. I also have additional sheets and blankets so if you have an additional person they may stay on the day bed in the front.
The house is a traditional New Orleans Style double shotgun built in the late 1800's, the neighborhood is a safe area that has many historic homes, coffee places, shops, live music clubs, and yummy restaurants.
I do live in the back of the house with my 2 wonderful dogs!
Check-In is at 4pm and Check-out is 11am. I do live on the premises and my neighbors do work, so please keep noise after 11 to a minimal. The house is over a 100 years old so appreciate the respect it deserves, she is strong but wont tolerate abuse. Smoking is not allowed indooors
Warren was awesome! We didn't actually get to meet him but the place was in a safe cute neighborhood with a great little restaurant nearby. Everything was clean and cozy. Everything is within walking distance ie French Quarter. Nice place to stay! He does own a dog so you will occasionally here the dog bark, but we own dogs ourselves so no big deal!!
The house was very well setup and in a great location. The only hang up was the lack of heat with the temperatures dropping so drastically over Mardi Gras week the small space heater at the house did little. The house was easily accessible and I got a kick out of the bathroom.
Great location and cute apartment. I especially loved the two headed shower!
My sister and I stayed at Warrens place Jan25-29. What a great place to stay!!! The apt is in the Marigny area-which is a hip, quiet, residential neighborhood & basically 1 block out of the French Quarter. Lots of cute restaurants, friendly people & right across the street theres a great 24hour bar/venue called Buffas(we ate here many, many times). The apt is perfect for a couple or 2 to 3 friend to all share-theres a comfy bed and a full size day bed in the living room. There is a cute little kitchen with everything you need-coffee maker, stove, fridge, pots, pans, utensils. In the (amazing)bathroom, theres everything you need too-shampoo/conditioner, tp, blowdryer etc...all & all this place was wonderful, no drama, Warren & Michael are wonderful and pretty laid-back. Id DEFINITELY stay here next time Im in NOLA-which is hopefully sooner than (email hidden)anks guys!
The apartment was beautiful and clean. Also steps from the French quarter and close to rampart street if you want to bus it to downtown. The bathroom is definitely the highlight of the apartment.
We had an amazing time in New Orleans. Warren left the key out for us so there was no problems checking in - this was particularly useful as our flight was delayed quite a few hours! The apartment is beautiful and spacious, and right next to the French Quarter. We didn't have a car during our stay but everything was in easy walking distance. Warren was easy to get hold of if we needed anything and a great host. We want to come back to New Orleans again and we'll definitely be staying here again.
Warren was a perfect host for our trip to NOLA: generous, welcoming, pointed out great places to check out and provided a beautiful, charming space that had everything we needed to feel at home. The neighbourhood was friendly and close to many cool spots while still being far enough away from the action. We had 10 days and it was an incredibly memorable trip. The place is as advertised and Warren knows what he's doing! Thank you!

I am a laid back guy, who works in the tourism industry and loves projects. I live in the back of the house with my boyfriend and awesome but crazy 4 year old pointer mix. I am usually found gardening, doing too many house projects, or hanging out sipping mojitos etc. etc. I have always lived in New Orleans and do love it dearly. My favorite things to do here, and everywhere for that matter, is to enjoy food, good drinks and people that make it awesome!!
