Luxurious and elegant, yet intimate; a spacious 1 Bedroom bed and breakfast second floor apartment; located on a tidal creek and marsh adjacent to downtown Charleston South Carolina. A wonderful drive over the harbor overlooking Fort Sumter and 10 minutes to downtown. Hardwood Floors, Oriental Rugs and Breakfast is served on Saturday & Sunday mornings only.

If you've got dietary restrictions, we won't be able to accommodate you for breakfast.

Enjoy a 10 minute ride to the beach or sit on the dock, enjoy a glass of wine and experience the finest sunsets on earth.

For those that want to stay more than the two night miniumum, the apartment is fully equipped with private bath, kitchen and walk-in closet. Cotton linens on the bed and all cotton bath towels are provided. (Yes! the kitchen has utensils for cooking). It is your fully furnished as your home away from home!

Please note that it is a second floor apartment with a spiral stair case up. Look at the pictures. Most people will not have any problems, but please consider this when booking a reservations. We can take your luggage through the house, but if we aren't here when you leave, then you have got to carry it down the staircase when you leave.

Please note this is the second floor to a very large home on an island adjacent to Charleston. We live downstairs. The apartment is very private, with it's own entrance and is separated from the rest of the house.

No pets are not allowed whatsoever. And, please limit your stay to 2 guests.

Backyard and dock. Kayaks, life jackets.

Very little. We greet the guests and answer any questions that they may have. Give suggestions when asked.

The neighborhood is quiet and safe. The neighbor does have chickens next door and you will hear his rooster crowing from time to time.

No public transporation in Charleston. We live on an island adjacent to the city of Charleston. We leave cab company phone numbers for your use. We suggest that if you bring bicycles, drive and then ride. Charleston does have bike lanes , but not in the neighborhoods.

A consideration when flying in. Charleston is not real great with transit. You will need to rent a car to get around.

We would prefer check-in between 4pm - 6pm, but if you are coming in late, we can make arrangements to get you a key. Check-out is 10-10:30 am.

We have two kayaks that can be used for kayaking in the tidal creek/marsh, but LIFE JACKETS MUST be worn and the tides must be observed as once the tide goes out, you can't get back to the dock until the tide comes back up.

A picnic basket, with beach towels are provided, but we ask that they are left when you get ready to leave. And, if you use the bottles inside the beach basket, please clean them.

Breakfast will be served on Saturday and Sunday mornings only between 8 & 9am. Should you make other arrangements and go out, please let us know. Some folks choose to sleep in or go into the city for breakfast.

Please note that it is an upstairs apartment, and you have to enter through a spiral staircase. Some may find this difficult.
