  • I really enjoyed my stay at Gailo's. The room was beautiful and quiet, the house and garden's were lovely, and the location was great - in a beautiful neighborhood, close to restaurants, public transit (and a couple of lovely and restful old graveyards). Gailo and James were very welcoming and helpful during my stay.

  • Staying in Gailo's home far exceeded my expectations. This was my first Airbnb experience and I could not have asked for anything more. The room was perfect and Gailo was a sincere, friendly, accommodating host... and lots of fun to chat with :)

  • Hello
We found Gailo's Cabbageville B & B to be perfect for our needs. Very clean, comfortable and quiet. The room had everything we needed. It was also a great location, with many amenities in walking distance and excellent for transit.
We will likely stay there again when next in Toronto and will recommend it to others.

  • We had a lovely stay in this immaculate Victorian house. The bedroom was large and bright with a lovely ensuite. There is coffee and tea available down in the lounge. The owner is a very plesant lady who always has time for a hello as you return and offers advice and support where she can. The location is outside what ibwould call the down town centre but easy enough to get back to by bus, street car or subway. It's easy enough to reach the airport by public transport (website hidden) was nice to see a different part of the city. No use of the kitchen so just be mindful of this if it's an important part of your requirements.

Originally from South Africa - now Canadian. We lived in Durban and thereafter in the beautiful little wine growing village of Franschhoek, outside Cape Town. My husband and I love travelling, mainly to Europe, but work tends to get in the way!. I adore birds and animals, especially cats. Enjoy reading mysteries and biographies, knitting and entertaining, and have 2 wonderful married children living in Toronto. Life motto? Nil Desperandum
