Our sunny villa is located in a quiet (off season) yet lived-in (high season) neighborhood in Fontane Bianche, a short 4 minute (400m) walk from the fine & white sand beach & crystal clear sea.

It has been completely renovated in 2015. All furniture is modern & new.

Free wifi.

Dishwasher & laundry machine.

The kitchen is fully equipped for 5.

AirConditioner / heater in each bedroom as well as the living room.

Free street parking in front of the villa.

We don't accept dogs. Sorry.

The space
The house is surrounded by a Mediterranean garden (orange, lemon, fig and palm trees as well as a multitude of different cactuses). There is one big main terrace as well as 2 other verandas (one with a built-in barbeque) to enjoy the lovely evenings accompanied by the sound of the cicadas.
It's an ideal house for a family with two or three kids.

The entire house was completely renovated in 2015 - new kitchen, new bathroom and all new furniture.

In 2017 we changed all the windows (pictures show old windows) and in 2021 the whole house got painted.

The kitchen is fully equipped including dishwasher, microwave, small blender, kettle, moka espresso, popcorn machine, dishes for 5 & cooking essentials such as sugar, salt, coffee

The living room features a cozy couch and a LCD TV as well as family board games and a few toys for smaller kids.

New in 2022! For the winter months we now also have a cozy yet modern Swedish wood oven to heat up the place.

On demand we can offer a crib, a high chair, baby bath and potty for our smallest guests.

Our place is 𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗿 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘆𝘀 and to 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗲 in the winter months.

Cleaning for longer stays: At the request of the guests we can schedule one or more general cleaning of the apartment at the cost of € 40.00 each, not included in the fee and to be paid on the spot. Housekeeping can be arranged according to the preferred frequency of guests and is usually done in the morning.

Where you’ll be

Fontane Bianche, Sicilia, Italy

It is a quiet, yet lived-in neighborhood with a quiet B&B across the street, another AirBnB on the left and a local family on the right.

Fontane Bianche is a beach town that's lively in July and August, and quiet the rest of the year. The town has 1 small grocery store and 1 bakery and a couple of restaurants along the beach. El Cubano is our favorite ice-cream parlor, excellent real Italian ice-cream.
In Cassibile, the closest town, about 5 minutes away, you find more restaurants (our favorite pizzeria is Paper Moon, tell them Sarah from Svizzera sent you :-), grocery stores, a butcher, a post office, a bank, a pharmacy etc.

I'm a Swiss citizen, grew up in the German part of Switzerland (Bern) and now live with my family in the French part of Switzerland (Lausanne).
…I’m married to my soul mate, an Italo-Canadian whom I met while traveling in Spain 20 years ago. We have two boys together, aged 9 and 12. At home we speak English, with my parents I speak Swiss-German, and at the grocery store we speak French. And now we also speak Italian, while staying at our little place in paradise, in Fontane Bianche, Sicily.

Random bits of information about me:

My last name is Italian and means “Holy Cross”, don’t worry if you don’t know how to pronounce it, most people don’t :-)
I’m not a good skier at all! I prefer the beach to the mountains.
I’m a people person, but much better at 1 on 1 than big crowds.

I look forward to hearing from you
