Sorry no late night parties...we love our peaceful surroundings and our lovely neighbours in the not too far distance and want to keep it that way :-)
From Dec 19, 2015 - Jan 30, 2016 the minimum stay is 7 nights.
Thanks for having us Joanne - everything was like in the pictures and we were grateful for the toys to keep our boy entertained. Joanne kindly loaned us a bike and other bits and the use of her pool. Unfortunately we arrived after some storms so couldn't play outside as it was too muddy and the internet was down. Mullim is a cute little town.
We loved our summer week away in Mullumbinby. The cottage was clean, tidy, welcoming and comfortable. Joanne's description was accurate - totally amazing. We thoroughly enjoyed the oasis swimming pool and tranquility of the surroundings.
Mullumbinby town is a very short drive or bike ride down the road and very laid back with come great restaurants, cafes, shops and markets.
We visited Crystal Castle and Minyon Falls as well as the near by beaches of Burnswick Heads.
Our family would love to go back and look forward to seeing Joanne again soon.
What a lovely stay in a gorgeous cottage with the most peaceful & relaxing rural aspect of cows grazing ,viewed from our breakfast front verandah, we even watched a calf being born before our very eyes .
Our party of four wanted for nothing as our every need was catered for from lovely fluffy towels to quality bed linen, not to mention the most comfortable bed i've slept in for many years .When we realised sugar had been overlooked , our delightful host was but a few steps away to help out ,yet far enough away to have your own privacy & independence .
Thank you Joanne & Chris for not only sharing your lovely accomodation but providing the much loved company of Marley & gorgeous fluff ball, Rosie, we truly enjoyed our stay in every way & will be back with you should we come your direction again .
The cottage had plenty of room for our family of 6 adults to stay in comfort for 2 nights. We enjoyed the quiet relaxing location just minutes from town. We especially enjoyed the front deck area in the mornings to have our tea and coffee. The beds are comfortable with lovely white linen and towels. The cottage has everything you need for a great stay. Joanne was very easy to communicate with via emails before we arrived and very accommodating with any of our requests. Thanks Joanne we would love to stay again.
We spent 4 nights at the cottage while my husband attended the Biochar Fest. We were made very welcome by Joanne and she was very helpful but not at all intrusive. The cottage has a lovely outlook and has all the amenities one would need. The bed was extremely comfortable and the shower was great! The property is very handy to town and then to all of the gorgeous small towns of the district and of course Byron Bay.
We had a lovely relaxing time and would recommend the cottage to others.
We had a wonderful stay here.
The house is comfortable, quiet and has a stunning view from the main room and front porch.
Joanne was friendly and completely took care of us.
In short, 5 Stars and a strong recommendation for anyone thinking of staying in or around Mullumbimby.
We had a great time and would definitely come back to stay again. Joanne was super friendly and helpful, the house comfortable, cozy, and bright. We enjoyed our stay lots and won't forget "swimming with mermaids" in Joanne's lovely pool! Highly recommended!
About the Host, Joanne
I am a mother of four beautiful girls aged 7,6 4 and 2 which keeps me very happily busy. We feel blessed to live in a very beautiful part of the world...Mullumbimby and enjoy a healthy and creative lifestyle. Our latest venture has been moving to our new home and creating a lovely space in both the main house and in the second house for family, friends and holiday guests. We love the local beaches, Mermaiding in our own pool or at the beach, being close to nature, getting creative, music, Ballet, eating delicious food and sometimes, precious time permitting... creating beautiful Mermaid tails to swim in!
