A light-filled and modern coach house in the heart of Vancouver's best neighbourhood -- Strathcona! Located mere minutes from downtown, this detached coach house has two walls made entirely of glass, which look out onto a tranquil koi pond and balinese-inspired landscaping. Total privacy is yours with a separate gated entrance and backyard patio. Inside you'll find a brand new kitchen with stainless steel appliances, soaker tub in the bathroom, queen-sized bed with luxury linens, and a large flat-screen, featuring Apple TV. The sectional sofa pulls-out into an additional queen-sized bed.
This space will delight your senses as you sit next to the flowing waterfall on your very own south-facing patio. Parking is a breeze, great transit is close, and there is no concierge to deal with, no hassle of elevators or underground parking -- just your very own front door! The coach house is less than a block from the locals' favourite coffee shop and organic grocer, and three doors away from Maclean Park, a lovely neighbourhood gathering place.
Best of all, despite being so close to nearby attractions like Gastown and the sea wall, the coach house is utterly quiet. Total comfort awaits!

We were pleasantly surprised to find a wonderful little house in the garden of Samanta and Jason. Everything is brand new, clean and very stylish. We loved the possibility to open up the doors. Feels like being ouside indoors :-)
We've only met Samantha and she was very nice and helpful to explain a bit more of the city and restaurants.
Using the bikes is an excellent way to explore the city but make sure the saddles are at the right hight: your behind will be thankful... (There are tools in the shed).
Must-go restaurants are the coffeeshop around the corner (the snail) for breakfast and Bao Bei for outstanding modern chinese food. We also did The Parker but even though that was ok, it did not live up to expectations.
A perfect spot to stay in Vancouver. Loved the big windows, deep bathtub and free bikes. The location is great, and Samantha and Jason's neighborhood recommendations helped us find everything we needed. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.
Beautiful, well appointed studio apartment,in a lovely area with a nice community vibe, very comfortable for two people.
We spent a month in Sam and Jason's coach house when we first moved to Vancouver. It was beautiful and cozy and we loved the Koi pond! Sam and Jason were excellent hosts - making sure we had everything we needed and providing lots of recommendations on things to do in the area.
Just seeing the pictures again make me miss this place! I felt so at home and thankful for Samantha and her welcome basket of all the things that I needed after a long trip.
The coach house was very private and romantic while simultaneously having a feeling of instant community.
Everything was immaculately clean, organized and user friendly.
The neighbourhood is fantastic. It's close to great cafes, organic markets, cheese and wine shops. Downtown is about a 15-20 minute walk.
I would love to stay here again.
we absolutely loved our stay in this cozy little coach house.
samantha was a great hostess and the place was clean, neat, and bright. we ended up playing it low key after my biz trip (was a bit wiped out) and the homey feel was just what we needed.
the neighborhood is super cute--beautiful old homes and more residential, yet accessible to some of the busier neighborhoods and cute stores. for those fellow vegans--there are tons of options nearby.
this was our first time w/ airbnb and we're definitely sold.
We loved staying in Samantha & Jason's coach house! They greeted us the first night and provided recommendations for the best places to eat nearby (Bao Bei & the Pink Pearl were spectacular!). The house is just a few blocks away from Chinatown and an easy walk to downtown if you've got the time and energy. Street parking was never an issue. There are two coffee shop/grocery stores within a block that we took full advantage of. If you're planning a trip to Vancouver, Samantha & Jason's coach house will provide you with everything you'll need.
Samantha & Jason were great hosts, and went out of their way to ensure my stay was perfect!
Their place is as gorgeous as described and depicted in the AIBANDB profile. Quiet, clean and airy & the bed, furniture and appliances are all brand new!
The koi pond and waterfall are really cool and very relaxing....
I would definitely stay there again!
Thank you Samantha and Jason!
Our stay and Samantha and Jason's helped define our wonderful trip to Vancouver. The room was just as it appears online. The peaceful patio and koi pond make for a sublime resting place. Samantha's charm as a hostess and her knowledge of the city, freely shared, enhanced our stay. If you can, make use of the bikes that are available so you can take advantage of the nearby Union St. and Sea Wall bike trails.
This beautiful coach house is in a gentle neighborhood in the heart of Vancouver, and, as such, the neighbors were friendly and helpful. the coach house and the property itself are top notch - the renovations are professionally done and the decorating is superb. We felt so isolated in this urban oasis with the little pond outside our door and the water fall feature provided a great sense of peace. Samantha and Jason were excellent hosts and we had the use of modern laundry facilities as well as many other great amenities. We would highly recommend this space - bright, cheery, and peaceful.
