Agritourism with apartments near to cities of art like Volterra, San Gimignano, Siena, Pisa, Florence and 30 km from the sea.
The San Tommaso Villa is situated on one of Tuscany’s magnificent (email hidden) from the village of Pomarance. It has vast parking space and wide green gardens surrounding it with lots of flora and fauna. The house was built of tuff stone in the late 1800, and has been restructured in 1970, maintaining the characteristics of the typical Tuscany house. It consists of 5 apartments and a small studio. In one of these lives the owner, who is occupied with the agriculture and garden, and is also available for any customer needs. As you can partly see, every apartment has its own private entrance, consisting of an arbor or loggia with a table and chairs. The apartments have been designed by the owner to keep the atmosphere of a typical country house in Tuscany. They have tiled floors and antique furniture, they are comfortable for short and longer stays.
This is the "Pino" (studio 30 mq) is the smallest apartment but it has a very elegant style and romantic atmosphere, and it is very well equipped with old tuscan furniture, tiled floors and a fireplace. It is ideal for 2 persons.
There is a bed with storage, a table and a small cupboard-kitchen, a bathroom with shower and working fireplace.
There is an independent entrance in front of the garden and under the loggia there is a table with chairs and deckchair forming a private living room that can be used during the summer.
The terrace is at the backside of the house. It is 100 m sq wide and reveals a marvelous sight of the green hills of Tuscany. There are many small tables with chairs and beach chaise longues for sun bathing. The terrace is available for all guests to use in many pleasant ways such as having breakfast, lunch, having a drink at sunset or simply enjoying an amusing chat.
It was a wonderful stay at Sergio's apartment. We really enjoyed the beautiful property of Agriturismo San Tomaso and had a very relaxing time. The studio is rather small, but it is clean, cozy and serves everything we needed for our stay. We enjoyed to cook our own food or to have dinner at a very nice Osteria in Montegemoli. The property is located very good, as it is near many great cities like Volterra, Siena and San Gimignano. Sergio is a very nice host and he made us feel comfortable. We absolutely recommend staying here as it is a perfect location to visit wonderful Tuscanian cities, to enjoy the beauty of the landscape and to relax at the pool with an amazing view.

We had a very relaxing stay at Sergio's Agriturismo San Tomaso. Sergio is a very genial host and was around to answer questions but never intrusive. Our room was a studio and although it and the kitchen were compact, it served our needs.
The area is very beautiful and we were glad to be in such a serene setting after the hustle and bustle of Rome. Be aware that the roads have many twists and turns but we were able to find our way around with the help of our GPS. Wished we would have had more time to sit out and enjoy the vista but the weather did not permit. We aslo could not take advantage of the pool or the BBQ.
We were, however, able to get out and visit some of the surrounding towns. We visited Volterra, Pisa, San Gimignano and Cortona.
All in all it was a wonderful stay.
Our stay with Sergio was tutti bene! We were in Italy for two weeks and like everyone that visits Italy, enjoyed the food tremendously. Our dinner at Sergio's on the last night of our stay was the most memorable though. He has a wood-burning oven on site and made us the most delicious pizzas that kept coming and coming and coming. We got to know everyone staying at the villa, enjoyed Sergio's favourite local wine and had a lot of laughs with our new friends. Sergio is a geniunely warm, caring guy that wants everyone to enjoy themselves and have a good time. Thanks Sergio.
