  • Te appt is the best! location is perfect, you can walk to the coolest places in montreal, also the green metro (which goes to downtown) is 5min walk. The appt is super nice and confortable itself. I was there for 10 weeks because I went for work/study, so I really lived there, cooking a lot and studying. Linzee is super nice and would answer quickly any question I had. I absolutely recommend the appartment and the owner!! Montreal is beautiful, and I really enjoyed my stay!!

  • Thank you so much. The studio is really quiet, well furnished, yet perfectly situated near Beaudry. Lin-Zee was particularly helpful and made everything so that i could feel "at home". Overall, my month at her studio was amazing. Thank you so much.

  • My sister and I had a wonderful time in Montreal thanks to Lindsay's recommendations (i.e. restaurants, parks, festivals). The apartment is right in the middle of all the fun and easy to get to by Bixi and Metro. It was a very comfortable and clean apartment with a nice kitchen! Thanks!

  • Lindsay was a great host, always quick to respond and waiting at the apartment when we arrived. The apartment is well located and perfect for two people. Everything was clean and exactly as we expected.

  • The studio is small and cozy, but the location is perfect. We had everything we need in apartment and felt like we were at home. We were there for 3 nights and we never had a chance to use metro. Everything was close. Lindsay was very responsive and we had good communication with her all the time.

Also the studio is in the heart of all the nightlife and restaurants the place itself is located in quite small street so you will be guaranteed a good quite sleep.

I would suggest this studio and Lindsay as a host to anyone who is coming to visit Montreal.

    Thank you.

  • David was very easy to communicate with and a super welcoming host! It was nice to arrive to find things like (real) coffee and tea already there. The location of the studio was great, so close to public transport and many places were within walking distance too so it was fun to just go out and explore.

Even though the studio is small, it is really comfortable, ideal for one person or a couple - has everything you could need. The bed planks on the right side of the bed were a bit loose and fell in a couple of times but other than that everything was perfect! Highly recommended.

  • I've personally stayed at a few airbnb places all over the world and so far, this has been my favourite. The place was very comfortable and close to the major train station (Berry UQAM) to get around town. We walked 80% of our time there. It's also got a cool vibe and is generally a really homely place to stay. David received us and was the friendliest host we could have. We got loads of tips and and he checked up on us and offered advice regularly. Could not recommend this place or this host more!

    Response from Lindsay:

Mirza booked the apartment on a Sunday night and was at the door within five minutes of making the reservation. Neither Lindsay nor I live at the apartment - instead we manage the apartment for a friend who is abroad. We explained to him that he could drop off his bags but we would need time to clean up the apartment since they didn't give us any advance notice. We had just finished minor renovations in the bathroom where there was a water leak a few days earlier, so we really needed to tidy up and take out some equipment, etc. It would have been no problem for us to clean the apartment and prepare if for Mirza while he and his girlfriend went out for dinner (we are experts at this job!) but he didn't believe us. So, we offered him another bigger apartment (for a substantial discount) that was perfectly clean and ready for him to move in to. He and his girlfriend said no and we presume went to a hotel instead. They did not respond to Airbnb messages regarding the alteration of the reservation, nor did they cancel their reservation. A couple weeks later he writes us this nasty review without providing any context. Obviously we don't appreciate this at all and do not recommend hosting Mirza as he showed himself to be inflexible, unrealistic and generally unpleasant with his communication. We have dealt with hundreds of Airbnb guests in the last couple years, and he is the first that we have NOT RECOMMENDED to other hosts. We take guest satisfaction very seriously and therefore we now ask for four hours of advance notice prior to arrival in order to avoid a situation like this from occurring again. Thanks for taking the time to hear our side of the story :)

  • Had a great time in David & Lindsay's studio over New Year's Eve. The studio is small, but cozy and in a great location. Best of all, parking nearby was available on all days. David is a super host -- he greeted us warmly and left us with a bevy of recommendations for our stay. Outside of minor issues with the hot water and a disobedient bed plank, it provided exceptional value, especially in comparison with the outrageous hotel prices nearby.
