Nice little place. The town is nothing great, the outside of the hotel either, but the room was clean and the shower worked well (warm and good pressure). The bed was comfortable. Freddy doesn't speak much English but picked us up from the train and was super nice. The breakfast is grim but that doesn't matter much. Overall a very good experienc, not fancy but clean and and nice value.

I hate to leave a bad review, but I have to do it in this case. The place is under construction/renovation, and this led to several issues. There was an open hole/window in the shower with no cover, and the window over our door was papered instead of glass. As a result, it was very loud. There were no lights in our hallway. The actual window in the room was sliding and didn't seal, meaning sound came in there as well. Finally, there was no hot water. We also had some communication issues, as the check-in person (Freddy) and check-out person (someone else) both acted like we needed to pay even though we paid in advance on Airbnb.

Freddy was awesome, he had someone meet us at the train station and walk us to our room!!! The room was worth the cost. The room was clean and comfy. The wifi doesn't work upstairs and the shower was cold after about ten mins. I specifically emailed Freddy to make sure there was wifi and a hot shower and my friend didn't get a hot shower bc the hot water ran out after about ten mins. I would have appreciated the honestly because those were my only two requirements :/ Freddy was so nice and the beds were mega comfy and in a cool place!!!!!!!!!

The Pakarina Hostel is a really nice place to stay in Aguas Calientes. We could change our dates easily and it's near the train and bus station! Our room was very clean and well prepared and the breakfast is ok for a few days :-) Das Hostel ist perfekt, um ein paar Tage in Aguas Calientes zu verbringen. Die Zimmer und das Bad sind sehr sauber, das Personal freundlich und das Frühstück ausreichend für einige Tage! Außerdem liegt das Hostel nur ein paar Gehminuten vom Bahnhof und der Busstation entfernt :-)

We spent 20 days in Peru, in same price range airbnb accomodations and this is the WORST in terms of price/value. Our 2 nights stay is an experience to forget due to: -Noise and dust from the construction in the adiacent plaza (7.30am 6.30pm) -Terrible sewage smell from the toilet water -Decadent state of our room (mirror broken, an opening on the upper part of the door) -lack of wifi in the room -No towels/sheets daily change -Short shower curtains which causes the all the bathroom floor to be wet after the shower, with no bath mat provided
