  • Great place - Penny has put a lot of thought into making the apartment great and it was perfect for us. Welsh cakes and milk in the fridge to greet us were appreciated and it's a beautiful building and town to stay in. We were aware of noise from the bar nextdoor in the evening, but don't let that put you off - we slept fine, but it is a town location if you're looking for peaceful escape. Daytime was fine. Couldn't be happier with it.

  • we had a great stay in Cardigan. The flat was exactly what we had hoped for; beautiful, peaceful and cosy. A very friendly Penny met us when we arrived and showed us the ropes - she recommended a visit to the local cinema and a fab restaurant (The 25 mile) on the high street, both of which we did and weren't disappointed!

The kitchen is pretty basic but it has everything you need - and it kind of adds to the fun. We cooked dinner in for 2 nights and curled up on the sofa to watch tv (the weather wasnt great during our stay, but we used it as an excuse to relax in the apartment!)

We would def recommend this place to friends and family - we stayed for 3 nights but probs could have stayed a bit longer, especially if the weather had been nicer as the coastal path offers plenty of beautiful walks.

  • The apartment is fabulous. It is modern, cozy and we found it to be the perfect place for a couple. There are so many places to visit along the coast, we wish we could have stayed there longer.

  • We had a great Christmas holiday in Cardigan at Penny's place. Both Penny and her flat are absolutely marvellous. She made sure that we had a great christmas break by decorating the place with lights and a tree. Even better, Penny left us wine, port and some delicious treats from the bakery that greeted us upon our arrival.

The place itself is well located too. It is within walking distance (email hidden)-op and the Cardigan high street. Highly recommended to any couples looking for a great place to stay.

  • Sadly, we had to go to Cardigan for a funeral, Penny's apartment was a wonderful haven. It was a great space, very clean and very comfortable. Penny has great taste and the apartment reflects this. It's in a great location too - walk around the corner and you are in the high street. Thoroughly recommend this super apartment.

  • Pennys apartment is exactly how it is described and more. We absolutely loved our time here. Penny is so friendly and down to earth. We had such a fun time in Cardigan. We didnt arrive until 9pm on the Friday and decided to have a quick pint at the local pub which turned into playing Quiz Night with the locals and drinking whisky until 2am. Not quite the quiet pint we had imagined, but we had an absolute ball. We stayed here so that we werent far to visit St Paul's Cathedral. It is only an hours drive away and a must see. We will definitely be back to visit Cardigan and Pennys apartment.

    Response from Penny:

St Davids Cathedral!!! Paul's up in London!

  • This is a fabulous flat in a fantastic part of a great city! Penny was so kind to spend time with us when we arrived talking about the flat, the building, the city, where to find free nearby parking, etc. She was most helpful.

The flat is the cutest place! Just remodeled within the past year, it is modern, stylish, light, airy, and so tastefully decorated. Although it is a one-room flat, we had plenty of space to spread out and even cook in that adorable kitchen. Every necessity has been thought through and provided for. We were very comfortable. We wish we could have stayed longer. There is quite a bit to do and see in Cardigan, and we barely got started. We'll just have to come back.

This flat is very highly recommended, as is Penny. She is a delightful host and very easy to work with. Very much appreciated.

  • A great apartment, furnished and decorated with style and attention. It has a very comfortable bed.
The kitchen is well equipped. A well-stocked supermarket is just round the corner from the apartment.
Penny is a kind host and she gave us some nice tips for restaurants and sights to see.
We can definitely recommend this apartment.

  • Gorgeous apartment with everything you need for a weekend away. Welsh cakes waiting for us on arrival and even a selection of dvd's to help while away a dreary sunday afternoon. Handy location for exploring nearby delights ( including mwnt, poppit sands, aberaeron), easy parking and great communication from penny. Just perfect!
