Enjoy a breathtaking view atop the bell tower of the second oldest church in Coshocton County. The bell (that was cast at the Troy Bell Company in NY and once rang out the death of Abraham Lincoln) hung in the tower from 1853 until it was moved to its nearby location in the Roscoe United Methodist Church. Renovated between 2020-2023 this space provides a unique place to relax just up the hill from the Roscoe Village shops and restaurants.

The space
The Bell Tower is a unique rustic space with its 170 year old red bricks, original wood floors, and rich history evident in the nooks and crannies.
Upon entering through the side door of the church, which is now LeRetilley Event Center, guests will go up a series of steps to the bathroom, coffee bar, and bedroom. A spiral staircase then leads to the top of the tower where you can enjoy a beautiful 360* view from two comfy chairs or a high top bar table.
There are 45 steps from the front door to the top of the tower sitting room so guests must be physically able to climb multiple steps.

Guest access
Guests will access through the upper side door of the church labeled "The Bell Tower". Once inside a series of steps will take you up to the bathroom, bedroom and coffee bar. A spiral staircase leads from the bedroom area to the sitting area at the top of the tower. Guests must be able to climb multiple steps.

Other things to note
Guests may be able to hear some noise from the attached venue during their stay. However, quiet hours for Roscoe Village are Sunday-Thursday 10pm-11am and Friday & Saturday 11pm-11am and guests in the venue must vacate by 10pm and 11pm respectively.
We have WIFI and a coffee bar with a coffee maker, including one-pot packets per night of stay from local favorite "Indian Bear Cork & Coffee"! There is no kitchen, but there is a hotel-size refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven, coffee mugs, paper plates, and plastic utensils.
