Detached cottage in historic downtown Tulsa neighborhood. Full kitchen, bed, desk, television room, shower, fenced patio with water feature, seating. One block from River Parks' cycling/walking trails, 3 parks; six blocks to The Gathering Place, walking distance to restaurants, bars, coffee shops. 1+ miles to BOK Center, downtown attractions & arts districts. Close to Route 66!

The space
Our cottage is in the far back yard and is completely remodeled. It includes a full kitchen, king size memory bed, desk, guest seating, separate room with flat screen television and comfy couch. The bathroom has a fully tiled shower and there is a closet to store your clothes. From the television room, walk out to your beautiful deck AND flagstone patio, complete with patio furniture, water feature and landscaping - perfect for enjoying drinks, dinner or just a relaxing space to read a book. If you're traveling with pets, they can be leash-free there or in the front courtyard! In the courtyard, you can relax in the fenced area and your pets are welcome there also.

One of the best things about our cottage is the location. We are one block away from Dream Keeper's Park and a block away from the River Parks, 6 blocks from the Gathering Place and 4 blocks from the SoBo Entertainment District. We are 1.5 miles south of the BOK Center, Guthrie Green, Brady Arts District and Blue Dome District. And it's a mile to either Cherry Street or the Brookside entertainment area, and Philbrook Art Museum! Just 2 blocks away is the Council Oak Tree on the National Historic Register and the Creek Stickball Park!

It is a beautiful and historic part of Tulsa, but not particularly quiet!

Our home is in the historic Buena Vista neighborhood - on the National Historic Registry. There is a book in the writing desk inside the cottage listing favorite restaurants, groceries, and places of interest - maps included, of course! We are in the city, so if the sound of fire engines or dump trucks in the middle of the night will bother you, this may not be a good match for you!

My husband Demetrius, our pups Ella and Lucy and I live in a beautiful 2-story Spanish stucco home in the historical midtown/downtown neighborhood, Buena Vista (meaning "good view"). This home has been in my husband's family for over 70 years! We remodeled our detached carriage house and invite you to stay here. Have all the privacy you like in the detached cottage, or you are welcome to join us on either covered porch!
