This apartment was everything we wanted and more! The location was excellent, within walking distance of all of the major tourist sites - even with a 6-year old!
In terms of the apartment itself, it was sparkling clean, with beautifully laundered linen and towels. A large spacious apartment, I could have happily stayed longer. Fernando was an excellent host, he made sure we had everything we needed to stay comfortably. He explained everything carefully, including how to get to tourist sites and how to work everything in the apartment. All possible cooking equipment was available, as well as all the small things you need to self-cater with a family, like condiments, olive oil, pasta and so forth. Fernando, I cannot thank you enough for the care and attention you put in to the apartment. We had an amazing stay in Rome!!!
We have spent a week as a family in Fernando's wonderful home and can recommend it without any restrictions - perfect size, layout and equipment!
The apartment is the place to be on vacation to relax after long tours in Rome.
Those arriving on the Termini railway station, reach the apartment in just a few minutes walk down the Via Goito, where you find a supermarket which is open daily.
Fernado was always to achieve in the short term from the time of booking for any questions and has been waiting for us upon our arrival.
In particular, his detailed explanations of all the attractions of Rome and the direct and wider area around the apartment have made the holiday a wonderful experience.
Thank you dear Fernando for everything!
Mr. Fernando's apt was the best choice of this europe tour.
We have stayed at his apt for 4 nights.
The rooms and living-room were very clean and beautiful.
There were many things for tourist like a maps and multi adapter, any eqipments.
The location was also good.
My members usually don't like walking.
However we could reach many place;
Piazza spain, Termini station and Piazza venezia etc. on foot from his apt.
Also there were subway staion near the house.
So we could go to Vatican easily.
Above all the best thing is the host Mr.Fernando.
I think he is not kind but good person and generous , warm-hearted person.
If you want to stay at a good apt AND to meet a good local people, I highly highly recommend Mr.Fernando's house!!
Thank you Mr. Fernando!
Fantastic house, suitably located and spacious. Highly recommended!
We spent our holiday in Italy in mr. Fernando's lovely appartment!
It's the most beautifull, clean and fuly aquipt appartment we've ever seen! It's in a very nice and safe neighbourhood. Fernando is the best host! He had a lot of information about Rome and he helpt us order a taxi! The appartment has wonderfull beds! The restaurants in the Flavia street are very good! We will absolutely tell our friends about this wonderfull experience! Thank you again Fernando!
Fernandos place has been a pleasant surprise for us. With the value, we got a spacious apartment, clean, complete, and beautiful place. Even i the notice of booking was short, fernando was stilll able to prepare everything including giving us basket of goodies with champagne which surprised us on how hospitable fernando is.
Another upside of this place is the location. Walking distance to a lot of major tourist attractions. You cant make a mistake with his place, highly recommended.
Even though we only stayed 2 nights got to see very little of Rome the apartment was amazing Fernando was very helpful and kind A+++ the apartment set the right mood staying in hotel is nice but having an apartment all to you makes it very pleasant if I was to go again or recommend hotel or apartment defiantly apartment you won't regret it
Fernando was awesome! The suite was was even better than expected! Pictures don't do it justice!! It was beautiful! My favorite place during our entire holiday!
Tonya and dearest friends,
I'm really happy for the nice words you had for me and my house. They repay me for all the work and effort was made to welcome my guests. Thanks also for the consideration that the house live is more beautiful than in the pictures and you have not been the first to tell me that. For now I will call this a good photographer to pay tribute to my beautiful home. The photos you see are made by me I'm not a photographer :)
We still look forward to your visit because you were fantastic, very polite and punctual and especially because you had respect sheeting out of my house as clean as you found it.
Kinds regards and best wishes for your life.
Fernando has a lovely apartment in a nice part of town that is very accessible to the sights of Rome. He was a brilliant host and made us feel very welcome. It really is quite a luxurious little pad with comfy beds and a lovely living area. It was great to come back to such a lovely environment after a long day wandering the streets and seeing the sites. Across the road is the best little pizza place I've experienced in Italy. Fernando bought some to share with us just before we left for the airport. He really couldn't have been more hospitable. He also ensured we had maps and details of all the most important sites. I will definitely stay again when I return to Rome.
Fernando's House felt like home during our entire stay. I traveled with my 5 family members and stayed 4 nights. We were greeted with gracious hospitality from Fernando from the start! It was a very warm welcome. He made his home our home for our stay and we wanted to ensure we treated it that way. After a 4 floor walk up we were given a tour of the home. We thoroughly enjoyed staying in the apartment, beds were comfortable and it was nice and quiet. There is also TV's in every room and one in the living room with international station access. There was also an abundance of additional amenities.
The apt is about 12min walk from the termini station. It is about a 10min walk to the nearest metro and a block away from the bus stop transportation. You are about a 20min walk to the Spanish Steps or Trevi Fountain and about a 30min walk to the Pantheon. If you are accustomed to walking you can walk those distances. Fernando even provided a map to walk a street with great views to these locations. I would ensure you become accustomed to the bus and metro schedules prior to departure if you are not accustomed to walking. Certain buses run less frequent. For example the bus to the Vatican was a 45min wait (we just missed the bus when we arrived at the stop). The metro runs approximately every 7 minutes and is easy to use! We highly recommend in investing in the Roma pass which gives you 3 days of transportation on metro and bus, 2 free museum entrances, and 30% discount on other museums.
There is an amazing Gelato spot around the block which Fernando pointed out as well as an excellent pizza place called Alice right across the street. There is also a grocery store about 3-4 blocks away great to stock up. We would recommended anyone traveling to Rome to definitely stay at Fernando's "Suite Louis House."
